MIRROR OF ERISED Being a true Gemini, Adam has two ambitions in life. One is herbology, it’s his favorite subject in school. For obvious reasons, and because the subject itself actually brings something out in him. Ambition. Another part of Adam wants to pursue a career in music. He loves to play the guitar, and usually found strumming it around the grounds. What he will eventually decide to pursue is unknown to Adam at the present moment.

PERSONALITY
Adam is the type of person who knows everyone. He’s rather easy to get along with, dislikes drama with a passion, so usually stays away from it, and is the type of guy who ultimately wants to have everyone laughing. He’s a bit of a class clown, so during lessons he’s the boy in the back making obnoxious sounds, and tossing balled up paper at the professor’s head. Since he absolutely hates to be around or near drama, Adam has very few actual close friends. He has many people he is pleasant with and friendly with, but a minimal list of those he considers his real friends.

Adam is actually a very smart student, and if he were to ever apply himself, he’d probably be at the top of all of his classes. The problem is that he’s the type of person who has no want or ambition to push himself. He knows he can pass many of his classes by doing the bare minimum, and he is find with doing that. He doesn’t feel like he needs to apply himself in things like class, because he isn’t even sure what he wants to do with his life. Part of him wants to pursue a career in music, and he feels like if he were to pursue that in the muggle world, getting Exceeding Expectations in his NEWTs.

Adam does enjoy herbology, though. He tended to stay awake in that class, and continued to help out in the greenhouses after he realized he enjoyed it. Though, Adam does like other things..herblike. He’s the go to person to go to in the school when you are requiring a little extra something. He usually has anything and everything that could be needed by other students. And has no problem peddling around his products in the school. It’s usually why he is so well known, and friendly with everyone.

Adam and his brother Jesse, however, do not get along at all. Jesse had assumed he was the special one in the family when he received his Hogwarts letter a year before Adam. Of course after Adam received his own letter, Jesse and he had butted heads. Though, it wasn’t like they were every best friends before that.

HISTORY
Adam’s parents are both surgeons, and the type of parents that allowed their children to have a lot of freedom. Which basically meant that they all matured pretty quickly, and didn’t get chances to truly be children. It caused Adam to learn about certain things, like alcohol and drugs, at an early age. Living in California it wasn’t hard to get into the scene. Adam had realized at an early age he was different, had been able to do things other children couldn’t, but kept it to himself. He already felt like he was different from other kids and his siblings. It was easier to just pretend, and to just act normal.


When Adam’s brother, Jesse turned 11 he had received his letter to Hogwarts. They were an all muggle family until that point. Never even knew of the existence of Wizards. But then a year later, Adam too received his letter. Jesse and Adam were at ends after that. At first Jesse had thought he was the only wizard in their little family, and had felt special and unique. Once Adam too received a letter, Jesse was jealous. The two brothers basically fought throughout their entire time in school.

Jesse had his own issues, being a muggle born student in Slytherin, even though now the blood issue didn’t seem that big, there were still some old time thinkers in the house. Adam never had such issues with people, but he did usually try his best to stay out of the drama.

Jesse never mistook the opportunity to remind Adam that he was the younger, less efficient brother. Usually consisting of typical muggle high school behavior, like swirlies and wedgies.

Adam laughed and shook his head a little at what Shey was saying. "You didn't have to say yes, you know." He said through his small laugh as he poked her nose. He found it kind of cute that she never really drank like that. And also kind of cute that she had no tolerance. He didn't mind taking care of Shey, when she was drunk or when she was sober. Adam would do anything for her. Of course, he wondered if that made him a pansy or whipped by a girl that wasn't his. But, he basically fell in love with Shey the day he met her. It was hard not to, she was bubbly, full of energy, lit up a room, and was just an overall warm person. Once he had met her, there was no girl that could compare to her. Plus she was gorgeous. So Adam could understand his friend Xap's attraction to Ava. She was different from Shey, and because of that he could never consider her as beautiful as he thought Shey was. "You could fall asleep on me whenever you want." Adam said with a small shrug. That could probably be taken a number of ways. But, he knew that Shey would know what he meant.

Adam sighed and shook his head. "Even if you say it's okay...you saw me in my boxers. It's...embarrassing." He mumbled and lit up a cigarette he grabbed from his pack. He offered Shey one before shoving it back in his pocket that was charmed to hold a lot of crap. He took a long drag before shaking his head again. He would make a total ass of himself in front of the only girl he actually cared enough about that it would matter. Adam usually had the I don't care attitude around other people. Which is probably why he was so easy to get along with and easy going. But with Shey, he felt like a bumbling buffoon. Adam's eyes widened, and his face flushed a very bright red when Shey spoke. What..did she...what did that mean? And then she continued, and it just caused him to get even more red, and choke on his cigarette smoke as it escaped his mouth. "I mean..are you joking?" Because to Adam, there was no way she could be serious. Girls in general didn't usual talk like this, right? He didn't know, he had absolutely no idea, because he had absolutely no experience with girls.

It was a good kiss, but Adam never thought that Shey would think that. Probably because he had her on a serious pedestal. He just assumed she was that girl..you know that one that you pined for throughout school and never got. Because she was kind of amazing. And then you got married to some ordinary girl and dreamt about that girl you never got. But, this whole conversation was making Adam feel like maybe he wasn't so far deep in the friendzone as he had imagined. Adam smirked and shook his head. "Next time to be fair, you need to take off your pants." His turn to blush first as he looked over at her instantly. "I mean..it could just be me and you. I mean..not like I'm insinuating anything. I just..." He was just making a complete ass out of himself. "I mean..you know that I would never..unless you wanted...I'm going to shut up."

Adam shrugged, though he really appreciated the kiss on his cheek. "None of us would have let you go home alone.." He said giving her an obvious look. He noticed her glance down at her sketch book at those last words, and it did pique his curiosity. Clearly there was something else in that book. But, because Adam was so oblivious that Shey was capable of doing...anything that was the epitome of perfection, he ignored it. He was about to ask her though, because he did want to know what was in that book. It seemed like..or maybe it was just a feeling Adam got. As though he should try and find out what was in there. But he didn't get a chanced to think about it, or talk. Because Shey was now straddling him, and he just found himself in awe. Nervously he looked up at her, his arms without a thought wrapping themselves around her waist, probably partially for fear she would come to her senses and decide to get up. He gulped nervously, nodded, because words were just impossible right now and felt her lips then pressed against his own. His arms hugged around her tightly, and he pulled her closer as he leaned forward kissing her back. It was everything he wanted in this moment, Shey on him, kissing him. He pulled away, his forehead leaning against hers. "Shey.." He was a little out of breath. "I don't just like you...."
