HAIR&EYES Her hair is a golden blonde with some dirty blonde highlights. As far as eyes go, they are a simple, solid blue.

Shelly is, above all, an avid dreamer who is set on believing that everyone deserves to one day find love. Happiness, she thinks, is something that is deserved, and should not be something that people have to work for. Though some might call her naive, her mindset remains the same - she's a positive person who truly only wants to see the best in the world. Her personality is warm, her laughter and smiles nearly contagious whenever she speaks to someone who is close to her. That being said however, she is certainly not without her faults. Due to her only wanting to see the positive in the world, she has an incredibly hard time handling conflict and would always rather avoid it altogether. Though she's loyal as can be to her friends, she would not put her life on the line for a stranger.

If one ever befriends or falls in love with Shelly, they will find her to be a life-long partner in this world. When she loves, she loves deeply and fully, with no concept of how to hold back parts of herself or take things slowly. In every relationship, she'll always give one hundred percent of herself - even if that might be unwanted, or the feelings not returned. There is, truly, nothing she wouldn't do for someone who loves her.

Though stress and conflict make Shelly anxious, she does have a solid coping mechanism. Painting is something she has done ever since she was a young girl, and if one were to empty out her bag they would certainly find some tools to prove that fact. She's very much into fashion and design, and is often found scribbling on the margins of her Hogwarts exams. Friends are often hounding her when they have dates, wanting her to plan their outfits and do their hair - and of course, Shelly will oblige them. She's more than happy to spend time with people who she can have fun with, and is childish in the sense that her sense of wonder is always growing.

HISTORY 
Born to the happily married Eavan and Cameron Fowles, Shelly has lived in London for most of her life after her family decided to move away from Broome, Australia. They still have a small house there - which they do visit often during holidays - but found it much simpler to live closer to Shelly's new school once she had gotten her Hogwarts letter. Shelly herself always loved Broome, and one day hopes to return - the setting certainly helped to foster her ideas of romance, and her fingers are always itching to paint the scenery there one more time.

Though Eavan and Cameron had tried to have another child at one point in time, a miscarriage when Shelly was seven proved to be the end of the couple's attempts. They were blessed with their one daughter, and often refer to her as their "sun". However, the family can be found in Framlingham, surrounded by muggle and magical folk alike. Shelly has met her fair share of friends there, and had to learn when she was younger to control her magic while over her friend's houses and having sleepovers.

At this point in time, Shelly has suffered no great adversity - and though this might be seen as a good thing, it should be noted that, when people have not faced too many trials, they have not yet found every part of who they are.
