BOGGART Doina is terrified of drowning, the thought of being in deep water physically asphyxiating her.
MIRROR OF ERISED Doina's greatest desire is simply to succeed as a healer. The idea of easing pain appeals to her inner hero.
PATRONUS Fawn. Like a baby deer, Doina seems to always have shaky starts, though after gaining her footing, she tends to dart off at full speed, with neither confidence nor foresight.
PERSONALITY
Doina is the epitome of compassion. She loves to care for others and lives to put smiles on people's faces. It's her selfless behavior that sometimes causes her to act recklessly. She'd take a bullet (or more appropriately, a spell) for anyone she loved, her loyalty to them, hard to waver.
She's a fairly open-minded girl, and regardless of her (numerous) fears, she's willing to try and do anything, in the company, or for the benefit, of people she trusts. Though she is not a physically aggressive person, Doina has a tendency to get snippy and short tempered when offended (however rarely the occasion arises.) Regardless of this, she is quick to apologize, finding herself to be at fault, even in spite of logic.
However self-aware she purports to be, Doina is easily manipulated. She’s quick to forgive and forget, and as such, it is very easy to bend her to one’s will and affect her deeply, using even the simplest of words.

HISTORY
Born to Ciprian and Daria Vasile, Doina was the third and last child, completing her family of five. Daria, a muggle, was the reason the couple had opted to live in the Romanian capital of Bucharest, where their three children would be born and grow till they were old enough to attend Hogwarts.
The circumstances of her parents meeting was something of a fairy tale to her as a child. In his younger years, Ciprian, was a dragon handler, and during a rare incident, his heroic actions happened to save a life. A standard case of Nightingale Syndrome, Daria was instantly attracted to the young man, and rather than allowing her memory of the incident to be wiped, they continued to contact one another, finding one another to be entirely fascinating. Against his parent’s wishes, Ciprian married Daria, severing all ties with his bigoted family.
Much like her star-sign dictated, Doina was free-spirited as a child, traces of her magical roots manifesting themselves in her happiest moments. Though Romania was and still is her home, the family travelled a great deal, staying in other countries for long periods of time. In retrospect, she had a charmed childhood, her father sparing no expense to let her be free and happy, her mother raising her in a very "hands-off" manner, clearly afraid of her child's abilities.
When Doina turned 11, she received her Hogwarts letter, and was soon shipped off for her first year. Compared to her younger years, her first few years at school were not the best, as her mixed up, ambiguously foreign accent became something of a joke among her peers. However minor this was, it caused the otherwise carefree child to clam up, for a matter of years. For a time, the young Romanian faded into the background, more often than not keeping her silence until time desensitized her to the embarrassment.
All things considered, socialization was the least of her problems. The youngest in her family, Doina had quite a lot to live up to. Much of her nervousness through school was unwarranted, caused solely by fear of failure. Once again, time and the company she kept dissipated her fears, and by graduation she found herself impassioned for the future.
