PERSONALITY Jaclyn is a bit of a brat. She was the literal baby of her household and everybody treated her as such. her family is loaded with old family money so she pretty much has the best of everything including her horses. That being said, she doesn't throw her money around to get what she wants. She doesn't really have to. Her personality tends to take care of that.
She can be sweet and kind when she needs to be but usually its only to get her way. parents think shes a model child but behind their backs she is usually quite a handful. She is fiercly loyal to her friends and would do anything to protect them. She generally gets along with everybody and has a happy demeanor until you piss her off or get in her way. She puts a bit of a front up in her love life because shes not ready to open up to another person but she has dated regularly.

HISTORY Jaclyn was accidentally conceived on an anniversary. Her parents had tried for a baby after their son but after years of being unable to conceive and one horrible miscarriage - they gave up. So Jaclyn was a happy, loved surprise, 11 years after her brother Erik was born. Her parents spoiled her mercilessly and she got pretty much anything she ever wanted. There was never a question of her being a witch as her parents were both pureblood and she showed signs of having magical powers from an early age.
Because of her mothers overbearingly, constant, need to control most of Jaclyn's life - Jaclyn has sort of a resentment towards her mother. She appreciates her and she loves her, but if you mention her mother she'll probably roll her eyes at you. She was a pretty normal child so theres not much to say about her history.

RP SAMPLE. Jaclyn ran her fingers through her hair as she pulled it back into a low ponytail. She secured it with a hair bow, a small sigh escaping her lips as she did so. She wasn't looking forward to dinner with her mother and had tried everything in her power to get out of it. But of course, Daddy had called and insisted she play nice. She was sure there would be some sort of reward from him if he heard they had a good visit. She could care less what her mother thought. She was so overbearing, and obsessive with Jaclyn and her life. Her friends, even.
"Honeestly Missy, I just don't want to go!" she said, her annoyance clear in the tone of her voice. Her roommate shrugged at her in indifference and Jac turned back to her mirror, smoothing out the fine baby hairs that always seemed to stray from a ponytail. "I guess I'll be back later" she muttered with an eye roll before sliding her wand into her boot. She grabbed her red peacoat from the end of her dormitory bed and made her way out of the room.
