HAIR&EYES Shaggy dirty blonde hair, that is usually a mess. Jareth is one that brushes his hand through his hair quite frequently, so even during formal events where he is too look put together, after a while his hair is tousled. His mother always was messing with it, attempting to 'fix it'. He has light blue eyes that he gets from his father.

-The Dark Arts - Having attended Durmstrang with his brother for the past five years, they both grew to enjoy learning of the dark arts. Jareth found that her had an affinity for it, and was hoping to continue learning about it in Hogwarts.
-Loose fitting clothing - His mother always liked seeing all of her sons in suits, but Jareth was never one to enjoy being so confined. He would wear it for special occasions and to not embarrass his family, but usually half way through the night he was loosening his tie.
-Caffeine - The muggles must have something going right. Coffee, soda, tea...Jareth may have an addiction to it.
-Cigarettes - Speaking of addiction, though do not tell him he has one, Jareth is usually spotted with a cigarette in his mouth.
-Art - It isn't much of a study, or a job, he knows this, but Jareth enjoys to draw. Portraits mostly. He would sit alone and observe people from afar, drawing their likeness in his sketch pad. He's normally always seen with the sketch pad under his arm.
-Quiet - Jareth isn't one to like loud parties and screaming teens. He enjoys the quiet, and nice place he could read or draw.
-Snow - Jareth's favorite season in Winter, and his favorite time is after the first snowfall. The soft fresh white snow on the ground, and that sound it makes under the crush of your shoe, is one of his favorite things.
DISLIKES
-His Complicated Family - In all honestly, Jareth doesn't like complicated. And his family is a big mess. He's as old as his niece and nephews, half the age of his older brother and sister, oh and his brother and sister are married to one another, yet aren't related to one another. Try explaining that a girl on the first date.
-Summer- Every day is sweater weather for Jareth. So in the Summer he is usually sweating his brains out.
-Know it alls - Those over achievers and goody two shoes that kiss ass to get further along. Prove your self worth, make something of yourselves on your own merit, learn and study, is that so hard?
-When His mother fixes his hair or his clothes - The woman is usually very hands on, and Jareth has noticed that she is even still the same way with Blaise. It doesn't give him much comfort that he will never be too old for the woman to try and fix him.
-His Father - He doesn't hate his father, but the man is not an easy person to Love. Sometimes Jareth feels that the only child their father Alain cares for is their older sister Jesenia.
BOGGART Freezing to death. As much as Jareth loves the winter and the snow, he has a fear that he will die frozen, underneath the ice.
MIRROR OF ERISED Power. Jareth enjoys learning, he enjoys growing, and he enjoys being better than other people. His ultimate goal is to be able to somehow say he is the best. He may not look up to his father about much, but he can respect that the man was able to manipulate his way into the ministry of magic to infiltrate for the DE. He can respect that he was undetected, and he can respect that he was never caught. A man like that is smart, and not just book smart. Alain was able to use his intelligence and skills in the real world to gain power. And that is something that Jareth seeks out of life.
PATRONUS Jareth is unable to produce a patronus. He is a rather pessimistic person by default, and asking him to produce a happy thought isn't a simple task. It something that he is jealous of his older siblings for, they were both able to produce one by this age.
PERSONALITY
Jareth is the type of student he keeps to himself. He has his brother, Dom, and for him that is really all he needs. He doesn't allow people in, and doesn't trust anyone. Some might say that he is a bit paranoid, but Jareth considers himself precautious. His family is strange, and combined with DE and order members, honestly he isn't really sure which direction he's leaning more towards, and he doesn't know which group deserves his trust. His father was a death eater, and the man doesn't have many redeeming qualities of a human being. Basically his parents aren't really together, his father sort of comes and goes from all of his children's lives, and Jareth knows that murder usually comes with the DE territory. But Alain knows so much, he knows his way with the dark arts, he's mastered certain spells, and Jareth appreciates his father's intelligence.
He has trust issues, and that's mostly because of the type of family he comes from. His older brother and sister seem like they are ashamed of him and Dom. Basically they are considered the distant cousins at the family reunions, and honestly no one seems bothered to correct them or seems to care enough to try and see how that even makes sense. Basically for Jareth's life, Dom has been the only person he has been able to trust fully. For this reason he doesn't let others in, he doesn't need friends. He doesn't need girlfriends.
Jareth is studious, but for his own personal growth. He doesn't really feel the need to prove himself to professors or other classmates, he just genuinely enjoys knowledge. He was pleased to find out that there was a muggle arts class at Hogwarts. There wasn't anything of the sorts at Durmstrang, and he only hopes that his father doesn't care about what he adds for his extracurricular classes.
Art is sort of a release for Jareth. It's him to, a moment where he is allowed to be honest with himself. And it sort of feels like he's able to see the real versions of people he draws without them knowing.

HISTORY
Jareth is the second son born from Alain's and Desideria's promiscuous affair of a 'relationship.' His parent's aren't married, and they aren't even together, they just..go together every so often. Jareth isn't even really sure why his mother decided to have his brother or him.
Anyway, he and his older brother Dom were having a fine time being the family's dirty little secret in Durmstrang, where they were receiving a very good education in the dark arts, that is until their father decided that they all needed to get closer together and play house. Apparently, his niece, Anna, which they all pretend is his cousin, got knocked up. So now, Alain felt like everyone needed to be closer to him..basically so rthey wouldn't continue to embarrass and ruin his family. As if Alain was the picture of perfection, you know having illegitimate sons and what not. Jareth often wondered if he and Dom were the only other children he fathered out of wedlock.
Jareth wasn't really fond of the whole get up and move and basically start your whole life over thing. Mostly because, even if he wouldn't admit it, he was jealous. Alain would travel or move half way across the world for Jes, and Jareth always felt like she was his daughter and Alain just so happen to accidentally father two other children. Oh well..that's actually basically what happened, so it isn't really too far fetched. SO maybe he's got his own daddy issues..and mommy issues, and older sibling issues. But, they bare buried deep down, and no body's business anyway.
Starting fresh in Hogwarts this year, well it's going to be weird. He's got nephews and niece that barely know him, teachers that are going to have to get used to his attitude, and people who need to learn to stay out of his way. Good times.
