HAIR&EYES Reid's hair is either a complete mess that can not be tamed, or perfectly parted and brushed. There is no in between for his thin dark brown shaggy hair. He usually keeps it on the longer side but never letting it reach his shoulders. His eyes eyes are a very dark green, normally getting over looked and assumed to be a deep Hazel or light brown.

PERSONALITY
Reid is the type of man who lives life day by day. He never has a plan and never wakes up to a schedule. He never had any idea where life will lead him, and he wouldn't have it any other way. Most found it strange that he chose to become a professor, especially since most assumed he would be out Travelling the world. But Reid has a passion for showing others what it feels like to really feel.

The ability to teach students about astronomy, about how the stars could be I your grasp means the world to him. It was his favorite subject as a child, because of what it represented. The possibility of anything and everything.

Reid is the type of person who is usually closed to love and relationships. It's not because he likes to play the field, it's because he had his heart broken once. And he knows it wasn't real love, but if something so small could hurt him that much he fears what the real deal would do. It's why he lives such a nomadic life style.

His work stays put but Reid doesn't stay anywhere else long. He moves about the country, making his way and spreading his wings. His goal to be the only person who has seen everything.

OTHER he has a relatively normal muggle family. They don't seem to grasp the life of a wizard too much, but it does make for fun holidays.
HISTORY
Reid comes from a very muggle family, the epitome of a typical London household. His mother is always trying to get him to settle down with a nice normal girl and start a family, though Reid has no want to lead that life. His thoughts aren't on being in love or finding "the one" if anything, he's pretty sure that whole true love and soul mate business is a bunch of crap. People get married and divorce all the time, and he isn't one to want to deal with any of that.

Once he received his letter to Hogwarts he was surprised to say the least. Reid hadn't shown many signs to being a wizard early, nothing that couldn't be ignored and explained as coincidence. But once he knew what he truly was it was almost like a blindfold had been taken off of his eyes. As if he was seeing himself for the first time.

He suddenly felt like his life had purpose and meaning, and Reid was pretty positive he would love bing a wizard.

He was sorted into Hufflepuff and Reid had no qualms about that, after all he didn't really know much about Hogwarts or its houses and hadn't entered with an opinion or desire to be sorted in any house in particular. He was well aware after finding out the traits that were associated with each house, that Hufflepuff was basically a good fit for him.

He wasn't a big prankster like some of his other housemates, but he had been very Laid back throughout school. He did enough in class to pass but no excel. He was never the type to want to be the retain of attention and receive gold stars, but he did do a bit more than bare minimum.

Astronomy was easily his favorite subject. Even as a small child he had gazed up at the stars and wanted to learn more about what was out there. When he learned that Wizards were real and that he was one, it was more proof that there are whole worlds out there that no one knows about.

It was a simple decision what he wanted to do after school was over. Go back. He wanted to teach astronomy and show other students what was amazing about he stars and constellations and how it could better their lives as a wizard.

Hogwarts was the only place Reid stayed around for. Otherwise he travelled the world a bit. He doesn't have a steady place to live and he never kept the same people in his life.

He even only visits his family on holiday.
