PERSONALITY 
Being brought up in a city that was nothing but vicious to him and his family, Ryan turned out to be pretty quiet and secretive. Talking about himself is his least favorite thing to do, next to talking about his feelings. He loves to keep things bottled up and pushed away, out of site, out of mind... at least that's what he's hoping for. With everyone else in his family having rather strong personalities, there was no room for another so Ryan is the reserved, mellow one who would rather do his own thing than participate in group activities. Unless of course his four best friends are with him. Jacob, Alexis, Conner, and Tanner are the four that his life seems to revolve around. He does everything with them and it seems like when he's not at school the five of them are attached at the hip. When he's with them he's a completely different person than if he's with anyone else, a quiet, reserved boy turns into quite an outgoing, fun person to be with. 
    As far as rebellion goes, Ryan is a pretty average kid. Yes he smokes weed, but mostly just when he's snowboarding, yes he drinks but what sixteen year old doesn't? He sneaks out on occasion but for the most part he is a pretty decent kid who does what he's told and obeys his parents and authority. Ryan hasn't really ever been one to start fights or purposely upset people, using the color code he has a very white personality. He's a natural peace maker who avoids conflict and confrontation. Ryan loves to study people and figure them out, he would rather sit and listen than talk himself and he does enjoy it when people come to him for advice because he does enjoy helping people.

HISTORY 
Ryan was born in Sicily, Italy after his parents (his father originally from Siena, Italy and his mother from Denver, Colorado), moved to take care of Ryan's dying grandparents who at the time were heavily involved in the Sicilian mafia. However, once crime began to go up and more and more problems became prevalent, his family quickly relocated to the United States to escape it all and to start over. At the time of the big move, Ryan was only five and his mother was pregnant with his little sister Emma. Finally out of Italy, his parents were able to get better jobs and make a lot more money to support the family. From five, on, Ryan attended muggle school until he reached the age to attend Hogwarts. Having two older siblings who were both wizards, Ryan was excited to get his letter in the mail. It was obvious since he was a toddler that he had special abilities, when he was angry he could unexplainedly break dishes and most things in sight, his emotions holding more power than he realized until he got older. 
    When Ryan was 12 his older brother Sage, who at the time had a bit of a drug problem, ran off to New York to get out from beneath his father's rules and that was a rather life changing event for everyone in the family. Ryan talks to him fairly often and visits him fairly often as well, though no one in his family knows that and no one else in the family has seen him for a couple years. Now his brother is making a good name for himself as a high paid, high demanded freelance journalist. 
    Ryan loves his family but his overbearing and strict parents aren't a complete match for his lifestyle and it seems like him and his dad do more arguing than talking, which only became the case after Sage ran away.
