HAIR&EYES Scorpius was said to have been the spitting image of his father when he first started school at Hogwarts. With his ash gray, piercing and observant eyes along with the white-blonde hair that was a clear trait of the Malfoy family, it isn’t hard to see why. Over the years, his hair has dulled in colour, with some brown making it a darker colour more alike to his mother’s beautiful locks. His eyes have remained the same for the most part, but they’ve brightened and become clearer, almost seeming transparent when the light shines into them.
HEIGHT&WEIGHT Scorpius is very slim, a trait he receives from both of his parents naturally, and stands at the height of 5’6”, weighing 120lbs due to his lack of fine muscles from little to no physical exertion throughout his life.
FACE CLAIM Jack Gleeson.

WAND Aspen wood, dragon heartstring, 11”, inflexible. It is a wand of pale colouring with a small, intricate carving of the Malfoy family’s crest at the base of where it’s held.
LIKES His family, being right, flaunting his talents, winter, learning and knowledge, reading, dueling, magical creatures, thrills.
DISLIKES His grandfather (Lucius), sweets, physical conflict, dull lectures and people, stupidity, ignorance, losing, disloyalty, prejudice, blood.
BOGGART There are quite a few things that Scorpius fears, though he’d never admit as much, and almost all of them, especially the prominent ones, center around his parents. It’s rather understandable, if one were aware of the absolute devotion and love he has for them because of how much they mean to him. As such, he fears disappointing them, fears being disowned, and highly fears them dying, all of which may seem uncalled for but he cannot help having those worries always present in the recesses of his mind.
MIRROR OF ERISED Scorpius, much like most Slytherins, desires power, but not in a physical sense and not in a way as to rule over others. He desires such things as knowledge and respect from everyone around him, and he wants to become well-known and renown, a specialist in whatever field of work he ends up going into. In extension of these wishes, he desperately wants to make his parents proud.
PATRONUS A blue-tailed skink. They are very small, agile creatures that normally hide from confrontations and predators that they know they have no chance against, but when they spy animals they can fight, they furiously hunt them down, most times cornering them before they can eat them whole. Scorpius is very smartly aware of those he’d have an easier time beating, whether it is in a duel or an intellectual battle of some kind, and takes advantage of knowing his own weaknesses and strengths very finitely so that he survives and prospers. He’s no bully or coward, but if he knows he is in a losing battle he will strategically find a way to escape, often times finding some way to exact revenge in a much sneakier manner later on.
PERSONALITY Even at a young age, Scorpius had always been very intellectual, and as a child he was always reading with his mother and on his own, taking after her in their shared love for books. He can be quite quiet though once you get him talking about something he’s interested in he becomes very animated, loud, and quite a bit conceited, much to his own embarrassment if it’s pointed out to him. He loves learning, to extend his own knowledge itself but also so that he can prove how much smarter and better he is than others. He can be classified as a know-it-all, but in the face of any teasing about it he simply flaunts his own talents even more so because he sees no flaw in being intelligent.
He’s fiercely loyal to those he cares about, his family in particular, and will not hesitate to make someone’s life a living hell if they dare say or do anything to harm the important people in his life. In certain regards, he can be very prideful, always wanting to be a good representative of his family to make them proud and make sure that no one looks down on any of them. Scorpius is not easily made angry or insulted, in an obvious way, at least, because though he’d do his best to remain calm and collected, he wouldn’t simply ignore the situation. Instead, he would find ways to exact revenge, in ways that would not get him into trouble so that he keeps a clean image.
His sense of what love is only comes from that he shares with his family, and so when it comes to friends and acquaintances, he can be quite oblivious and awkward, not knowing how to care for others or even show that he does, often times simply denying his own feelings to seem as if he doesn’t actually care to save himself any potential teasing. Scorpius doesn’t easily make friends, thanks to his combined quiet, bookworm nature and the fact that he can be quite arrogant and condescending, but what often draws people to him is his strong sense of morals and loyalty and the fact that he’d be a great study partner to those struggling with classes.

HISTORY When Scorpius was born to his parents, Draco and Astoria, he was immediately the new jewel of the family. He was always well taken care of, obviously spoiled to certain extents, by the female members especially. Much like with Draco, Narcissa always made sure to look out for his best interests, much of the time assisting Astoria with whatever she needed if it concerned the boy. As such, Scorpius was always well cared for during his childhood, thanks to the love of his family and the wealth that they had.
Everything wasn’t sunshine and flowers, however, because that Malfoy family in particular had to deal with a lot of prejudice and stigma thanks to the war. Many places that they went together made them garner suspicious looks, and Scorpius soon learned that people could easily turn on you even without knowing the full story and circumstances. It was partially thanks to this that he could never feel comfortable around his grandfather, Lucius. Perhaps growing up during a different time made him think as much, but he could never understand why his family had aligned themselves with the Dark Lord.
Scorpius was brought up not have as many prejudices as previous generations, and much to the dismay of Lucius, he was quite the open person when it came to people from different Houses and blood. Learning from his mother to love and protect those who you care about, your family in particular, he grew to have fierce beliefs in loyalty. It didn’t matter if you were a Hufflepuff or a muggleborn, as long as you were loyal and protected your family then you could earn at least some respect from Scorpius.
Thanks to his closeness with his parents, he was rather distraught over having to leave them for school - though he was also incredibly excited at the prospects of learning so much more about magic - but knew that he would see them whenever possible and always communicate with them through letters. He didn’t care if people would call him a mommy’s or daddy’s boy, as long as they didn’t say anything against his parents. In order to make them proud, Scorpius very adamantly demanded that the sorting hat put him into Slytherin, even if he, like his mother, held many characteristics common with that of the Ravenclaw House.

RP EXPERIENCE? Many, many years
RP SAMPLE.
It was just another normal day in the common room, with Scorpius curled up in a chair by the fire, reading a book he’d recently gotten his hands on thanks to his mother. He was absorbed in it, almost completely, but when a voice pervaded his mind, speaking what he obviously knew was garbage and false facts, he turned his head to get a look at whoever it was. He noticed a male of a higher year, surrounded by a few other students that were rapturously listening in on what he was talking about. It was stupid, that popularity seemed able to give credibility, and he could hardly stand to listen to the conversation any longer than a few moments.
“Well, actually, you’re completely incorrect about everything you’re saying right now,” Scorpius interjected, seeming not at all apologetic in the fact that he was doing so and blatantly calling out a fellow student on their misunderstandings. In the face of the nasty looks he garnered, he simply smiled, but it wasn’t a friendly or pleasant smile, it was more of a cocky smirk, because he was utterly aware that he was going to prove how much more he knew about magical creatures in only a few breaths. “Merpeople qualify for full being status and are actually highly intelligent. They have a culture that has very structured communities, and many other aspects that show they are not the dull-witted, barabaric animals you seem to think they are.”
He received a few rolls of the eyes from people around him, some even turning away and muttering things about him under their breath, but Scorpius didn’t care. He continued on speaking, voice louder and more energetic as it always was when he was speaking about something that interested him. “Initially they hadn’t been recognized as beings because they do not speak the human tongue, a stupid requirement if you ask me, but even when they were given the right to have the being status they wanted to be treated as beasts because they don’t want to be of the same association as beings such as hags and vampires.”
When he finished, he noticed that most people in the common room were ignoring him, and while that bothered him, because they should be listening so that they could stop being ignorant about topics they pretended to know everything about, he simply shook his head, crossing his arms over his chest. Those people wouldn’t go far in the wizarding world, he told himself, and then he noticed that a girl who looked younger than him was still sitting on the chair opposite of his own, looking incredibly enamoured and intrigued by everything he had said. It made warmth bloom in his chest, and he leaned forward, almost conspiratorially, and said, for only her ears, “Do you want to know something fantastic about centaurs?”
