HAIR&EYES

Heidi got her platinum blonde hair from her mother’s side, mostly due to the Dutch Veela blood that was in her genes. Her mother passed on a quarter of those genes to her who was most likely the cause of her light features. However her father was a Dannish man and was a fair haired, fair eyed man. His eyes are the crystal clear colors of hers while her mothers were a darker, swimming pool blue.

PERSONALITY

Although a rather obnoxiously loud personality when she’s with her friends sometimes she tones it down as to not frighten those around her. She has a definitely more bubbly way of life than many people her age as she doesn’t let things get to her no matter what the consequence. She enjoys playing sports whenever she has the time to because it keeps her active and mindful. She feels that being out in the open with sports, playing them constantly keeps her in the right state both mentally and physically. If you were to take away her sports she would get uneasy and rather emotional about it because it is practically everything to her. However if you give her what she wants with sports she’ll be happy as can be with everything else. She’s an overly friendly person for the most part but doesn’t use that as a way to hurt people. She chooses her friends wisely by looking into them before approaching them. She however is very brave when doing this because she will stop at very few things to find out what she needs about someone. She truly doesn’t have a bad bone in her body.

Heidi could easily be seen as someone who is willing to test the waters with people to see if they’ll like her enough to become her friend. She doesn’t sit back or back away from a challenge which often shows how well she adapts to situations. Though at times being so out loud with everything tires her and she’ll sit down with a book whether it be for fun or for class. She does enjoy the quietness of the library while she reads or studies and finds that to be the best place for her when she needs to get her mind off everything else.

She takes pride in the knowledge that she has with everything that she has learned over the last however many years of being in the Wizarding world. She does however not use that as a thing that puts her above everyone else, she feels that she is on level with others and an equal but nothing more. The only thing that she feels she may be above everyone else with would be her snowboarding in the States however she doesn’t do that much anymore due to her father’s death.

HISTORY

Heidi was born to Aina and David Larsen fifteen years ago in Salt Lake City, Utah where her father hails from. She was the third child of the family and the final member bringing the family to five. The children were brought up with both wizarding and muggle lifestyles as both parents wished to educate the children in their heritage. David was a snowboarding coach in Utah while Aina was a medi-witch who had moved from Britain years prior to help at one of the wizarding hospitals in the United States. They had met one day while Aina was shopping in the muggle world with one of her witch friends who had muggle parents.

David saw the children as his pride and joys and wished to allow them to do the same things he had as a child. This was allowing them to do the sports of the muggle world they wished to do, the three children when they became of deciding age were put into snowboarding lessons. The two eldest didn’t stick with it too long and branched out. However Heidi stuck with it because she felt like it freed her from everything that happened around her. She absolutely loved getting the air that the snowboarding allowed even if that meant she’d wipe out on occasion.

As she grew so did her abilities and she became better at the snowboarding than anything she had ever dreamed. She would snowboard every day possible whenever she could because it had become most of her life. By the time she was nine she was put onto one of the under 12 groups and would give lessons to the younger ones alongside her father. Although during one of her lessons she accidently ended up tripping someone off their snowboard with some sort of magic, this… was just the beginning of her similar love for magic. She never accidently had it while she was competing which was good for her but during her practices she’d often wipe out due to accidently magic.

When the children were respectively 9, 10, and 11 they were moved from their United States home to move to Britain with their family. Her father had gotten an offer to become a snowboarding coach somewhere in Europe, and his daughter had gotten an invite with him. So the family just decided to head over and the eldest child began his time at Hogwarts instead of Salem. All up until the year Heidi entered Hogwarts she competed often, and almost every month that they could. She had a few trophies for each place but she still wasn’t up to par with some of the famous young snowboarders.

Her time in Hogwarts severely limited her time on the slopes but she still made it work when she could. However when she turned 14, her father passed away in a severe accident while at work with an avalanche. He was caught along with two other coaches in the middle of a skiing trip which caused them to become trapped. They weren’t found in time which was what set in hypothermia, this devastated Heidi and her family.

As a result her mother ceased all snowboarding opportunities and forced the children to learn more sports in the wizarding world rather than the muggle one.

Heidi has lost her frequent snowboarding and her coach, but she doesn’t allow that to overwhelm her while at school because she knows her dad would’ve wanted better for her.
