LIKES
[1] Morning Coffee: He isn't the sort of person that goes ballistic without a cup, but he uses it to wake up and relax a little before starting the day.
[2] Sleeping: He could sleep through a whole weekend and still find it in himself to take a nap the next day.
[3] Singing: And he's not necessarily great at it. He'll just be belting out love ballads and 80's rock while driving in his car, or while getting a lesson plan ready.
[4] Children: If only because they are a good excuse to act like a child yourself, and to play games again. He doesn't have it in him to be a dad, but he'd make a good uncle or godfather.
[5] Rain: He loves to look out the window as it is raining with a hot cup of coffee or tea. Other times, though, he just needs to go out and experience it.
[6] His Parents: He still had dinner with his parents every Sunday before he took on the teaching job. His mother might be a little hard on him, and his father more than a little embarrassing but he still loves being able to see them.
[7] Charms: The branch of magic that he's always done the best at. He thinks that it is the most practical, the spells that are used most often throughout everyday life.
[8] Falling in Love: So what if it has never actually been reciprocated? He likes the fuzzy feeling in the stomach, and the way that it makes people act some fun kind of crazy. Dating, though? He hasn't actually gotten so far.
DISLIKES
[1] Stereotypical Rich Pure-Bloods: Nothing against wealth or blood status itself, but it seems like people who have both just don't have any limits as to where they can go. He was jealous in school, he's jealous now, and he hates the fact that it bothers him more than anything.
[2] Drinking: He doesn't like the personality changes that come along with drinking. Suddenly he's the life of the party, speaking with people and lying to make himself sound more impressive.
[3] His Name: You wouldn't like it either as an overweight nerd, being called Tuck'N'Rolls throughout school.
[4] Family Reunions: He is not descended from Wizards, and therefore, it's quite hard to be who he is in front of extended family that don't know about his abilities. Besides that, they're all kind of nutty in their own (often violent) ways. Tucker likes to say that he's living in a slapstick comedy.
[5] The Cold: He has a low tolerance for cold temperatures and has to bundle up. That doesn't hurt his joy in rain and snow, it just is an unwelcome side-effect.
[6] Wearing Suits: He's more of a t-shirt and jeans kind of guy. While he pulls off suits rather well, he always feels like he is under more scrutiny when dressed nicely.
[7] Flying: It's why he either apparates or drives everywhere. He has a slight fear of flying, and never really did understand the draw of quidditch. Even watching the players used to make him feel dizzy.
[8] Crying: When other people cry, all that he can think of is making them stop. And he's not good at comforting them, either. Generally he'll stumble through it and try to come up with unrelated subjects.
BOGGART Not accomplishing anything by the time that he is 50. Being a 50 year old virgin is a close second.
MIRROR OF ERISED Simply feeling accomplishment, no more restlessness.
PATRONUS I'll get back to this.
PERSONALITY Though he wouldn't admit it, Tucker is very in tune with his emotions. He connects with other people easily enough, and doesn't have much difficulty in making friends. He seems to have an intuition about other people, and certain events. When he has a gut feeling about something he's very quick to follow it, and not wait until that fear becomes a reality. It helps him too when he is talking with people to be able to tell whether they are lying or not. However, he tends to make decisions based on his emotions quite often. That's where he becomes indecisive. He might know that there is something wrong with a situation, but put himself into it willingly because of how a person involved makes him feel. It's hard, because he knows the difference between right and wrong, and if he chooses to follow his emotions, sometimes that leads to him being hounded by guilt. Falling in love is very bad for Tucker that way, though thankfully he has managed to make 'the right choice' in the past.
People who know Tucker seem to expect that he is a very neat and orderly person... Then they see his desk, or his bedroom. He claims that there is a system to his clutter, to which most people just raise their eyebrows skeptically. It isn't true, but it doesn't seem to matter that much. Somehow, he can sift through all that and pull out the things that he needs. The same is true of his mind. Because of his intuitive nature, he can often recall what's important despite his mind being a muddled mess. He has a good memory of things, unless they are ones that he has played over in his mind over and over until the true memory is gone. That's what he has had to do with the war, the brief time that he was faced with Death Eaters in person. He hardly remembers that day.
He still has his rather 'dorky' personality. He likes to have fun more often these days, and meet new people. He also still values his alone time, though, and is trying to find a balance. He almost literally can't say no when people (especially pretty girls) ask him to do something for them. Definitely kind of a doormat.

Remember, if the time should come when you have to make a choice between what is right, and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good, and kind, and brave, because he strayed across the path of Lord Voldemort.

HISTORY He grew up in a slightly unconventional home. His mother was the head of the house by personality alone, and his father was the house-husband. They entirely filled the opposite gender roles. So Tucker grew up fixing cars with his mother and helping his father out in the kitchen, and it was definitely his father that he went to when he got himself hurt. When Tucker began to show signs of magic, both his parents made the silent decision to just pretend that nothing that happened... Nope, nothing at all. Logic was their friend when the situation spanned beyond just the small family. 'How could a seven year old boy have moved your lawnmower, Bill? You been drinking again?' The letter when he was eleven obviously was harder to ignore, and they decided to let Tucker go.
Tucker was something of a loser from the beginning. He was overweight and shy, with glasses and a slight nervous stutter on top of that. He was sorted into Hufflepuff house more for a lack of specific interests than because of his hard work and loyalty. School was hard for him, but he was just so painfully nice to people that those who actually talked to him tended to like him, even if they didn't stick around when others came. He met Asato Ito when he was in school. Sometimes they reference school like they were friends back then, but the truth of it is, they were merely two people who got used to each other being around when they were studying in the library or the common room or something like that. They might have been friends of a sort but they were not 'best friends' or anything like that.
During his fifth year he had the growth spurt that made people look at him differently. And he hated that more than anything... Why should the weight loss make him an easier person to be around? So he kept with the small group that had accepted him before that. He did come out of his shell a little bit, though, becoming something of a class clown. He had to go into hiding during the summer before his sixth year. He hadn't wanted to, though he realized that there wasn't as much he could do to help anyway... He was never a very skilled duelist. He went to an Order safe house because there weren't many other places he would be safe with the trace still on him. The safe house was attacked once, and Tucker got out of it unscathed and relocated. His luck seemed to be endless, all things considered.
The end of the war meant going back to school, and that he did, not without a renewed zest for life. He had dreamed of becoming an auror, but his marks were not high enough for that. So instead, he tried his hand at writing. He was successful at it for a while, but he didn't enjoy it. It always seemed to just come from his mind, and not his heart. A long time passed with him going from job to job, not finding one that really called to him. He had bad luck with timing in some instances. Becoming a teacher really seemed like it would be something he would like to do, as dealing with students wasn't so different from how it was when he was a student himself. But they never seemed to be taking in applicants when he remembered.
In time he reconnected with fellow Hufflepuff Asato, and they renewed their friendship. And when Asato decided to become the professor at Hogwarts for Charms, Tucker quickly asked to be his assistant. That way, he would have that prized teaching job, and he would also be able to help one of his only friends out.
His romantic life is very lacking; Tucker was such an unpopular kid at one point in his life that no girl was interested in him. When he had his growth spurt that evened out the weight and he stopped getting so many blemishes, then they noticed him. But Tucker was intent on not letting those frosty girls that had rejected him get the best of him. If they didn't like him for who he was before, then he sure wasn't going to give them a chance just because he had gotten less 'gross'. He even got revenge on one of the girls that tormented him by teaming up with her boyfriend and making out with him. No, he wasn't into men, and neither was the boyfriend. But the look on her face was entirely worth it, and had given the boyfriend an excuse to back out of the relationship without going through the actual break up. Of course... Spurning girls' affections throughout school then making out with a dude kind of makes people think that you are not interested in girls at all. Most of the romantic pursuits ended there. And he's never quite bounced back from all that, now in his thirties and having so little romantic experience he doesn't know how to approach girls, or keep a conversation going.
