BOGGART Élisabeth is terrified of heights. It was a fall that effectively ended her dance career.
MIRROR OF ERISED Élisabeth's greatest desire is simply to return to dance, and be able to perform professionally. That dream was taken away from her, but she is still coming to terms with the fact that some injuries are lifelong.
PATRONUS Fawn. Like a baby deer, Élisabeth seems to always have shaky starts, though after gaining her footing, she tends to dart off at full speed, with neither confidence nor foresight.
PERSONALITY
Élisabeth can come across as a bit of a spitfire. She often appears haughty or unimpressed, and when upset, this seems to have some measure of truth. In all actuality though, Élisabeth is a fairly open-minded girl, and regardless of her (numerous) fears, she's willing to try and do anything, in the company, or for the benefit, of people she trusts.
Though she is not really a physically aggressive person, it can be said Élisabeth has a tendency to get snippy and short tempered when offended (however rarely the occasion arises.) Her behavior is not something she is proud of, to be quite honest, as she is actually a happy girl by nature. Unfortunately, however, she’s rather self-righteous, which often leads her to believe her causes are worth bad behavior. It's predominantly out of selfless behavior that she most often acts recklessly. Regardless of this, she is quick to apologize, finding herself to be at fault, for perpetuating a conflict, in spite of her beliefs.
Élisabeth is a painfully empathetic person, giving forgiveness where it is not deserved, and very likely to give someone the shirt off her back if they were in need of it. Once she has set her mind to something, there is nothing that will sway her from it; as such, she is incredibly reliable. However self-aware she purports to be, Élisabeth is easily manipulated. She’s quick to forgive and forget, and as such, it is very easy to bend her to one’s will and affect her deeply, using even the simplest of words.
Considering her family's mix of apathy and empathy, she tends to keep to herself, much of her interaction with others showing slight detachment, regardless of relationship. Even her closest friends are not clued in to what she’s thinking and she prefers to keep it that way, the idea of creating a burden too unappealing to even consider.
Though her siblings are not entirely related to her, she loves them very much, too much even, and would do anything for their benefit. Even with the age gap, she thinks of them as her closest peers, and is fiercely protective of both of them. They are a testament to the fact that family isn't always blood, and it's not so daunting to build a home.

Remember, if the time should come when you have to make a choice between what is right, and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good, and kind, and brave, because he strayed across the path of Lord Voldemort.

HISTORY
Élisabeth Amie Fontaine is the proven daughter of prominent pureblood bigot, Sebastien Moreau, after his affair with a fairly high status half-blood woman, on one of her visits to France. He had no intention of caring for the infant himself, instead leaving her to her mother. Her biological father, along with his actual wife, was killed by aurors, following a raid upon a death eater hide-out, in the post war period. With that, Élisabeth was no longer associated with the man, and was simply the infant daughter of a single mother, disowned by disapproving parents.
With her father’s death however, came her mother’s marriage to a very kind widower, from who she and infant Élisabeth would take their last name. Much of this would ease the circumstances of her birth, restoring her mother to some of her former honor. The next few years however were difficult, coupling the adjustment to a joined family, and a society that still questioned the circumstances surrounding the marriage and what it entailed for each member.
With time there came a balance. Élisabeth was given a few years of peace and unconditional love, during one of which she and her older step-brother, her closest companion and confidant, were blessed with a baby sister. Prior to beginning school, Élisabeth went with her step-father on summer trips, her interest in ballet prompting him to provide her the best teachers he could. At eleven, she returned to France, cutting back on her dancing.
In the beginning of her schooling, Élisabeth went to Beauxbatons, but an inability to adjust lead her to transfer to Hogwarts in her 3rd year, where she was sorted in to Hufflepuff. All things considered, socialization was the least of her problems, as, late in her 5th year, an injury ended her dreams of dancing and left her rather lost. The middle child in her family, Élisabeth had quite a lot to live up to. Much of her nervousness through school was unwarranted, caused solely by fear of continued failure. Fortunately, time and the company she kept dissipated her fears, and by graduation she found herself impassioned for the future.
Having spent nearly all of her summers with her elder brother and younger sister, Élisabeth found herself closer to them than ever, enjoying a normal childhood, even with the trials and tribulations that came with her injury, and her brother moving away to Romania. Though her family split quite a bit, especially after graduation, she never lost contact with Olivier or Caitriona, and found her extended family searching for her company more often than they had when she was a child.
Currently, Élisabeth is a healer’s apprentice, much of her free time being spent with her family, as well as her

If hate had a face, it would have been Gaspard’s. He purported to care deeply for Luisa, reasoning that he only meant to help her, through hurting her so constantly and consistently. Punishment. Lessons to be learned from. In truth, he abhorred her, more so than anyone else, because on no level could her understand her; her trust in others, her indiscrimination, her unbreakable love. He could continue to bend her, but she would never break.
The Frenchman was at a loss whenever her morals and opinions came in to question. He was out for himself. He wanted her, not to make her happy, as many a man would, but to change her. He wanted her to act in his proverbial image. There was little evidence to redeem him from his narrow mind.
Even with her wand in plain sight, defensively poised, he felt superior, invincible, as he emerged from the darkness, a single candle illuminating his sickly, paper-white face. “Now, now, I’m unarmed. You’ve some sense of honor, I hope!” Such a funny word choice. Hope. To him, it was a sentiment reserved for the flawed and weak.
Luisa was weak. Gaspard was strong. The thought itself was ape-ish, but he would never admit it. He had only a few more chances, before mercy was no longer a part of the game. “Not all wishes come true, don’t you know? Or are you still stuck in fairy tales and fables?” Continuing to approach her, his eyes connected with the back of her head, her dark hair. He moved to disarm her manually, spinning her by the arm.
It was easy to take advantage of her, when she’d been reduced to nerves. A hand restraining her wrist, his free arm encircled her waist. A lover’s embrace, meant for a dance, he mused, the look on his face expressing something close to fondness. “Now, now, it’s just the two of us, for the next month. Do you really think we should be hostile towards one another?”
