HAIR&EYES Long and straight black hair, often left down. When she is at work she keeps it in a messy sort of bun. She does know how to do her hair in different ways, but there never seems to be much occasion for it. Eyes that are a very light blue-gray like her father's, emphasized by make up.

PERSONALITY
Sigrun acts much stronger than she is on the inside. She never cries, hardly even allows herself to become sad in front of others. But she doesn't smile, either. She doesn't like to deceive more than she has to, so her smiles are rare and far between. She normally just looks like she is in thought, or concentrated on whatever task she is doing. She has a false confidence about her in all that she does, especially when it comes to interacting with people like the Death Eaters. She does not show fear, and hardly feels it anymore because she has deceived herself into thinking that she might be above that.

She is a very conflicted person on the inside. She has always watched people, afraid to get closer to them because she didn't want to be rejected. She would see their pain, their happiness, their love, and wonder at it, believing that it was something that just wasn't meant for her. She had her problems and they were her entire world. She has always had trouble escaping the pain that her mother felt, and after that came consuming thoughts of revenge. She wants more than anything to have love and an ordinary life, but she doesn't know how to attain it. Similarly, she has sought for so long to try to take her father down however she could that the thoughts she has been having of maybe trying for a father-daughter relationship sicken her. She doesn't like to dwell on her own thoughts anymore the way that she used to.

When she is close to someone, she does everything she can to take care of them, even at great personal sacrifice. And when she's comfortable with someone, she is quicker to laugh and to smile if only to make them happy. As an enemy, she is rather deadly because she thinks ahead and never acts recklessly, and she likes to study people she is interacting with, and trying to guess what their next move will be.

Even though relationships in general seem beyond her, Sigrun is more attracted to women than men. Maybe it was the stories that her mother told about men, maybe it was just a natural attraction, she doesn't know.

HISTORY
Sigrun was one of those people who truly should never have been born, reason being that her father was a Death Eater and her mother a member of the Order. Ingrid and Adrastus had gone to school together, and there was always a sort of attraction between them. But Ingrid would never have supported the things that Adrastus did, and an attraction was all there ever could be (so she told him). When she was out of school Ingrid married another man and joined the Order of the Phoenix. When he was out of school, Adrastus did all that he could to join the ranks of the Death Eaters. And that he did, making the two enemies by association.

Somehow the two ended up in bed together, not once, but often enough that eventually the husband caught them together and left Ingrid. Enraged and also very ashamed of herself, she sent Adrastus away. Time did not heal those wounds. Ingrid was pregnant, for one, and Adrastus had time on his hands to reflect on what he'd lost. So in the first chance that he got, he murdered her husband during a battle. Afraid that she would be next, Ingrid had to go into one of the Order hide-outs. She spent much of her time worrying about what the child inside her would be like, and who the father was. One was dead, another a killer.

When Sigrun came into the world, it was very obvious to Ingrid who the father was from the dark hair and light blue eyes. Fortunately, she did not show any sign of insanity that Ingrid convinced herself there might be. Sigrun was actually a very dedicated child who did everything she could for her mother. As time went on, Ingrid seemed to lose more of herself to memories and broken dreams, and all Sigrun could do was pick up the pieces. And in moments of drunken ire, Ingrid would say things that implied Sigrun was the reason that she was the way that she was now. Obviously the true focus of the anger was herself and Adrastus, but Sigrun didn't know any better when she was a child. That led to lowered self-esteem, making it hard for her to make friends when she was at school. Besides that, she always worried what would happen to her mother while she was at Hogwarts.

She had been sorted into Gryffindor house, though she seemed to most to be more of a Ravenclaw. She was the type of girl to just stay in the library for hours at a time, reading and writing. She wrote letters, she created characters that she would write short stories with, and of course she completed her homework when she got around to it. She had extreme insomnia all throughout school which eventually hurt her grades a little bit. Most of that, again, was worry for how her mother was.

And over the summers, she cared for her mentally declining mother. As she got older she understood better that it was her biological father's fault that her mother was falling apart. She grew to hate the man that she had never met, and only a promise to her mother that she wouldn't go looking for him kept her from tracking him down. When she was seventeen, her mother died from drinking related organ failure, and Sigrun had to take care of things at home. So she never took her tests at the end of the school year. It didn't matter, though. While she had done really well in classes, she never actually thought what she might aspire to. She thought of her parents, and little else. So taking the job of a bartender was not below her at all. She was able to improve social skills that had gone largely unpolished over the years in school.

Although she knew it would hurt her mother if ever she knew what Sigrun was up to, Sigrun has decided to try to find her father. She wants in the end to kill him, or to at the least make him pay for his crimes committed during the war. Yet a small part of her is tugging her in the other direction, hoping that he'll be the father that she had always been without. She has ties to several Death Eaters now but she is afraid of the day that she is told to kill someone. She doesn't ever want to hurt someone else, but she needs to gain enough trust to learn the secrets and know the man that she is after. Her conflicted nature and deception to others and herself led to her first wand just up and not working for her any longer, and she's had to replace it.
