HAIR&EYES Lane’s hair changes depending on if he’s around his sister or not. Aurora likes to bleach his hair while he sleeps in order to make him match her when they go out. Though Lane’s eyes match Aurora’s and his fathers very well with the hazel color, the green in his eyes are usually more prominent than the brown in them.

HEIGHT&WEIGHT Lane stands around 5’10”, which makes him just barely taller than his older sister Aurora. Lane weighs roughly around 150 pounds with variation depending on the season and his personal conflicts.

PATRONUS Lane’s patronus is a bear. The bear is a symbol of healing and personal strength. Its also seen as knowing when the path your on is right or wrong for you. It’s a symbol of direction for yourself and those around you.


PERSONALITY Lane is much like his sister in his ability to extremely blunt and to a point where he just lets it come out of his mouth without thinking. However, Lane is very shy when you first meet him. After some time you can get him to open up to you and he’s just as crazy as his older sister. Lane is much more like his father in the fact that he is much more quiet, respectful, and shy even. However, he does open up and gets much louder and outgoing with time. You can meet Lane for breakfast and by lunch he’s inviting you to the Petit family home.

As a Petit he’s prone to getting attention on him without truly trying. Either by doing something that seems like no brain was involved or he did something very well and gets recognized for it.

Lane’s usually very open and willing to try new things. He’s tried eating bugs, skydiving, scuba diving, and is currently learning how to fix up cars the muggle way.

However, not long after Aurora graduated some things were spread about her at Hogwarts making Lane step up and defend his family. He ended up getting into a few fights but those who believed him are still his friends now. He’s extremely loyal to his family and his friends. When he has girlfriends he’s loyal to them as well and showers them in gifts while they date. Some say Lane’s clingy but he’s just a romantic that Aurora showed him to be.

HISTORY Lane was born to his parents not too long after his sister began to cause trouble. After that Aurora and Lane ended up having a bond where she would do something bad and he would do good so his parents forgot what she did. It was unspoken and Aurora has thanked Lane many times for saving her butt. Lane has a good relationship with Aurora and talks to her very often, either writing letters, calling, or texting if he’s home.


Lane’s dad took him under his wing and has been showing him tricks and even spells from work. Both parents have spoiled Lane endlessly, he’s gotten brooms every year, clothes, books, and whatever else he barely liked. It was a different up-bringing than his own sister, however both got whatever they want. It was seen as normal through both of the kids until Aurora began dating Zane and showed how different it was from his own up-bringing.
