LIKES
[2] Shopping ;; In general, but mostly for clothing or quidditch supplies.
[3] Recreational Sports ;; He likes the teamwork, and he likes being able to stay in shape.
[4] Cleanliness ;; He hates to see dirt in the space he occupies, or on his suit, anything like that. He is willing to get dirty to play sports but he has to shower and primp after he's through. He also cleans often, and his room is nice and tidy.
[5] Beautiful People ;; Especially older women.
[6] Poetry and other pretty words ;; Vicente is very into reading, and writing, he just loves words. And various languages as well.
[7] Romancing Others ;; He actually has trouble turning it off sometimes.
[8] Smelling Good ;; Vicente always makes sure that he smells good with a nice cologne that manages to be ever-present and subtle at the same time. It is almost so unique a scent that he has made it his own.
[9] Homemade Cooking ;; He loves it, and just the scent of garlic makes him think of dinners with his guardians.[/ul]
DISLIKES
[2] Disrespectful Smokers ;; It's one thing to be a smoker, quite another to light up right around non-smokers without at least asking if it's okay.
[3] Single-Minded People ;; Sex, sports, homework, if one thing makes a person happy then Vicente finds them boring.
[4] Homework ;; At least, other than writing essays and whatnot. If what he does can be put to his own words, then he's good with it.
[5] Bad Hygiene ;; In himself, and on others. Especially post-quidditch stink.
[6] Physical Violence ;; A very fair Vicente, he does not like when things get out of control and resort to violence.
[7] Muggles ;; He doesn't have a good history with them, to say the least.[/ul]
BOGGART What will happen when he is out of school. So in a way, uncertainty.
MIRROR OF ERISED Someone to love - someone remotely sane, who can live a comfortable lifestyle with him. You know, the sort of comfort that a normal family has naturally around each other. Doesn't have to be romantic.
PATRONUS Would be a cat – Vicente can be the 'love on his terms' type, not necessarily because he doesn't care, but because if he isn't around the people he loves, there is usually something else on his mind. He is also graceful and manages to look dignified even after falling down.
PERSONALITY
Vicente is the sort of person who will try anything once. He is very energetic and almost always in a good mood. Then there are the times when he has mood swings, which tend to throw his friends off. This usually happens if the subject of his parents comes up. Most of the time, though, he is playful and quick to laugh. He doesn't usually prank others because he finds it rude and immature, but he isn't beyond telling dirty jokes. He makes assumptions about people when he first meets them, but that is alright, since he doesn't trust everything to first impressions.
Vicente tells himself that he doesn't really care about blood status, but he does feel pride when he is around people who are lesser than him in some way. Money, blood status, or anything else. Besides that, being bullied by muggles and even their parents as a child has led him to dislike muggles themselves, even though to him anyone that does magic can be judged on an even level. Despite his vanity regarding clothing, hair, and scent, Vicente loves sports... both the wizard ones and ones that he has learned from muggleborns and half-bloods, and isn't afraid to ruin a few suits. It's a point of pride with him that he can easily replace them.
He is also proud of being wealthy. He flaunts it to some extent, buying nice things for friends and most especially people that he is trying to romance. Speaking of romance... He would sound insincere in talking to someone that he is enamored with. This is because he says what comes to mind, which can be embarrassingly romantic or too blunt, resulting in awkward situations. This seems to go over well with most people, though, since he has rarely been rejected. He is a physical person, being particularly fond of kissing. Sometimes he acts even more arrogant than usual with people he cares for.
Despite whatever good there is in Vicente, there are bad things, too (arrogance aside). Even though he doesn't like most classes or the homework that come with, he does them with the idea in his head that it will all pay off in the end. Can be considered ambitious or competitive – he tries to be the best in anything that he does. His father was a barely successful businessman but Vicente sometimes feels as though his father never really did that was memorable. Vicente wants to be remembered, and he wants to be a leader. He wants his visions to become reality. He likes to be around people who will compliment him, but just as much, he likes to be around people who will challenge him. He occasionally manipulates others without thinking about it because he needs or wants something that he can't get on his own.

Remember, if the time should come when you have to make a choice between what is right, and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good, and kind, and brave, because he strayed across the path of Lord Voldemort.

HISTORY
He was technically the product of a fling between Isadora Alencar and an unknown male in Brazil. He was given up for adoption because on her part, she didn't feel as though she could care for him, and for his, children just weren't in the stars. Vicente was adopted out, not knowing that he was adopted for years.
Vicente doesn't remember a whole lot about his childhood, only that he was raised by his nanny more than he was raised by his adoptive parents. His father was an important and very wealthy businessman who had started that very business from money inherited from his family; they were from a long line of well-known and successful witches and wizards, and each generation seemed to be wealthier than the last. Vicente's father was not a raving success. Most of their wealth was due to the efforts of past family members, and much of that could be blamed on the way that Adrián was always the sort to play fair. His wife was the strong-willed one, and though her husband was the one holding down a job, she was always the one who decided things and wore the pants in the family.
His father committed suicide when Vicente was only four years old, though he was not told the truth about the incident. Instead, he was told that his father had been in an accident. The very mystery of the word was enough to make Vicente too frightened to ask more questions. And unfortunately, Débora herself really did die in an accident while testing spells only two years later. For reasons unknown it had always been a hobby of hers, and she had remarked that it was what she would do for a living if she had never gotten married.
Despite all this, Vicente led a pretty ordinary life minus his parents. He was a happy child who played in the streets until evening with his friends, which also were plentiful. He started to experience the first signs of a magical tendency when he was eight. Randomly, he would do things such as levitate books or cause sparks from nowhere. Naturally the other children were afraid of him and he lost all but his closest friends. Whenever he was at school it seemed another person had heard of his 'problem', and he lost another friend. At the age of eleven, things started to clear up.
His guardians explained what it meant to be accepted at a place like Hogwarts. Before long, he began to understand other little things about the wizarding world, like blood status, and how much more they could do than muggles. It made him feel special, like there was much more to him than there was to the children who had made fun of him. His confidence came chiefly from finally knowing where he belonged, and making friends came easily to him when he had started to believe that it was an art lost to him.
Vicente was not through having the curve balls thrown at him. When he turned seventeen, he came into his half of his father's money, and Adele revealed to him the fact that he was not really the Caldeiras' son...
Through the years he has learned more about his adoptive parents when at home, and strives to be better than them, less forgettable. And he wants more than anything to learn more about his true bloodline. His years at Hogwarts, however, have been so good that he doesn't want to have to get out in the real world. He is afraid of failing, and afraid that the highlight of his life will always be his schooling years because he has messed up somewhere along the way.

Vicente couldn't help but smile when Sammie said his name. A lot of people shortened his name because they weren't sure how to pronounce it. That was fine, he could understand. A lot of the time he wasn't sure how names were pronounced of his classmates, and usually he went out and asked them. It seemed as though a lot of people were embarrassed about not knowing automatically, which was something that Vicente had always found amusing. In any case, he liked to hear people call him Vicente rather than Vic; partly because it was so rare to hear, and partly because it sounded so nice depending on who was saying it.
“Oh, I wasn't suggesting that you were forgetful; to say that to a Ravenclaw just seems like it would be a bad idea,” he said with a playful look on his face. He was sure that there were a few Ravenclaws that didn't have great memories, but since they were known for their academic prowess... “But I am glad to hear it. I was thinking about you over the summer,” he said. He left it ambiguous for a moment, wondering if she would think that it was creepy. Then with a smirk on his face he continued. “It is the last year of school... I was wondering what you were going to do when the year is over. I don't know if you have figured it out, but I had a feeling that you were going somewhere worthwhile.”
It was an odd greeting, but often Vicente spoke to people as though they hadn't been apart and were just continuing a prior conversation. When Samantha suggested that they go to the compartment just nearby, he glanced at it then back at her. It didn't seem strange at all to him. She was a prefect so she wouldn't mind being close to the compartment. Vicente didn't really like the idea because sometimes new prefects got it into their head that they should test their powers as quickly as possible to get it out of the way. It was a while before their meeting so most of them were probably hiding away in the compartment shaking in their boots. It was alright though. She was right. With her, Vicente was most likely safe from overzealous prefects.
He followed her into the compartment, brushing off the seat before sitting down. It was something that he did without even thinking about it, even if others might think that it made him dainty. “My summer was just fine. We didn't do anything very interesting, though, by the standards of most. I wanted to go on a trip but we ended up needing the money for something else,” he said, trying not to sound too disappointed. He was lucky to have good people to live with, so he figured that should be enough. “And yours?” He smiled at her, tilting his head slightly to show that he was quite curious. He realized that he knew very little about her home life. Probably about the same as she knew about his.
Vicente hadn't really thought to question further why they were sitting where they were. He thought that he had it worked out already. But when Sammie explained that she was Head Girl, Vicente looked pleasantly surprised. He hadn't been expecting that, and yet he realized that he probably should have been. “You made Head Girl, Samantha? Congratulations! I really am happy for you. And for the rest of us. I couldn't think of anyone better than you. What sort of trouble do you plan on causing now that you are the highest student power in the school?” he asked with a smirk. He didn't think that she would really take advantage of that, but he did mean the part about her being the highest student power. Old kings might disagree, but... women would always have more power than men in their spirits.
