PERSONALITY
Hawley is sweet and kind. She loves to hang with her brother and sister and play quidditch or any other sort of physical activities. She is very protective of her sister, yet she wants her to live her life so she reigns Logan's protective side in as much as she can. She values her family above all other things, and pities any fool who would try to hurt her loved ones. She's a fiercely loyal girl, and a brave fighter. She's never backed down from a challenge, and would rather fail than not try at all.

She is very devoted to her studies, but she enjoys parties and social activities as well. She is a bit of a drinker- it was the way she grew up… just like the rest of her family. She is grateful to be blessed with such a wonderful life and wants to make her family proud.

HISTORY
Hawley Cole was adopted as an infant by her loving parents Gemma and Isaac Cole. Gemma was, at the time, diagnosed with infertility so the couple adopted a baby girl whose parents had been murdered by death eaters just after her birth. She was a pureblood baby, not that it mattered to the new parents, but they knew there would be something very special about their brand new baby girl. Shortly after adopting Hawley, Gemma and Isaac were blessed with a pregnancy, a son named Logan… then a year later a daughter named Grace.

As a child Hawley knew she had been adopted, and she knew her family was as loving as any kid could hope for. She enjoyed spending time with her siblings, especially Grace. She loved Grace and watched over her like a good older sister should. Things had been a bit more complicated with Logan. While the two had always been close, there was an invisible barrier between them, and she never understood why exactly it was that Logan put the distance there. Nevertheless she loved and bonded with him as well.

When she and Logan were both sorted into Gryffindor, Hawley was relieved. Not only was she in the house her dad was in, but she was also with her brother- one of her very best friends. She was also relieved not to be instantly sorted to Slytherin… maybe her biological parents had been decent people after all.

Years went by and slowly Hawley began to realize why things had always been a bit off with Logan… she had different feelings for him… feelings no sister should ever have for her brother. She was afraid of these feelings, afraid of their consequences… so to this day she dates like normal and has yet to mention such things to anyone, not even Grace.

It had been a wonderful few months for Gemma. She looked down at her baby girl sleeping in the nursery, one hand on her stomach as if to be holding the child inside her. She felt so overwhelmed with love and the feeling of being blessed. She had a wonderfully devoted husband whom she loved very much, and who loved her just as much if not more. And together they had adopted a baby girl, then found out shortly thereafter that they had conceived a child of their own… she was living a life she wanted, minus the hiding part. She heard voices out in the kitchen and knew the others were here, and had to tear herself from the baby sleeping before her. It was hard every time she had to leave her.

She closed the door of the nursery behind her quietly, careful not to wake baby Hawley. She walked down the hallway and rounded the corner into the kitchen and saw it was full of people. She recognized most of them. Her eyes passed over Thiery first, then Danika and Xander, then over to another man… he was older and after a moment she recognized him. She'd seen him as a child, he was friends with her father- a fellow death eater. Instantly she brought her wand up and without a word, his wand flew straight into her hand. She was enraged to see this man in her home, near her daughter and her husband. All she could think of was her family. She looked angrily at Isaac and before she had time to think she found herself standing in front of Crabbe, her wand jabbed into his neck. "What the hell are you doing here?!" she demanded, her voice low and her expression scary. She was ready to kill this man as soon as Isaac gave her the green light. It had been too long since she'd gotten her hands dirty and she missed the thrill.
