• Goofy guys - they are the ones she tends to be more attracted to
• The beach - she has to be careful to wear lots of sunblock, but she loves going here
• Music - this is her passion, and she would die without it
• Animals - she has always had a soft spot for animals and owns a tabby cat named Sarah
• Teaching - D'Etra loves the idea of being a teacher, and wants to teach people to develop a passion for music like her
• Having fun - she would rather have fun than be serious most of the time
• Being healthy - her health isn't that great, so every good day is a good thing in her mind

• Her parents - they don't understand her need to pursue music when other things could make her more secure in her life and they cut her off money wise

PERSONALITY D'Etra has always been one of those types of people who tries to have fun no matter the circumstance. Whether it be attending classes or playing violin, she just has a way to make things more entertaining for herself and the people around her.  Just because she has fun with everything doesn't mean she struggles to take things seriously though.  Music is the most important thing in the world to her, so she takes it seriously, even if she does make it even more fun than many people who are working towards teaching college-level orchestra.

She is a very forward type of person too. If she has a crush on someone, she will come right out and say it instead of being all coy about it.  She does enjoy flirting, though at the same time she is a bit clumsy about the whole thing.  When in a relationship, D'Etra tends to be spontaneous, dragging boyfriends out to dance with her without even asking first.  She is a very fun, spontaneous type of girl.

Lately though, her energy has been a bit down because of her health.  She isn't sure what is causing all of the problems, but she tries to push through her exhaustion to keep going.

HISTORY From an early age, D'Etra was quite active in the arts, beginning music lessons by the time she was around two years old because she would not stop whining about wanting to do it.  She started with violin, but also plays piano and other string instruments.  She is also working on learning more, but they are not as much of a priority as her violin.  Her parents gave in to her whining, mostly to stop her from begging so much.

She excelled in anything that had to do with music, using most of her free time to practice.  She was already eight years old by the time her brother was born, so she was pretty much used to being an only child.  She was quick to dote upon her brother, and even doted upon her younger sister when she was born as well.  She loved having people around to play with.  Never being the type to sit still, D'Etra was a hyperactive child who was very creative in nearly every aspect of her life.

When her letter came in the mail, she was super excited. She had always wanted to follow in her mother's footsteps and finally she was going to.  She was smart, so the sorting hat had to debate between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, before finally putting her in the Hufflepuff house, mainly based on her personality.  She loved being a Hufflepuff, breezing right through school with average scores on tests, but many friends.

Upon graduation from Hogwarts, D'Etra started attending a muggle university to study music, going on to pursue a Master's Degree in Orchestra.  When her parents found out that she was going to study music instead of something they deemed worthwhile, they disinherited her, so D'Etra tries to make a living with impromptu concerts and a part-time job waitressing.

Within the last year, her health has been on a steady decline. She has no idea what is wrong, but is a bit afraid to go to a doctor or healer to find out what it is.  She is also quite busy with her job, concerts, and school, so her health has been on a back burner.  However, she has been weaker and more lightheaded lately than usual.
