BOGGART Ginny is still very concerned with family values, so it is mainly the possibility of harm befalling her children or family that she fears the most.
MIRROR OF ERISED Having already had a great run in her dream career as a Quidditch professional, her main focus now is providing for her children in the best way she possibly can, and therefore her greatest desire is to give them the great quality of life that she arguably didn’t always have.
PATRONUS Ginny’s Patronus is a horse. Given the stamina, hardiness and constitution of the horse, this reflects Ginny’s personality perfectly: resilient, determined and difficult to deter.
PERSONALITY Ginny is above all independent and knows her own mind. She takes firm control of her own actions and destiny and finds the idea of being forced to conform to something she does not believe in or being stripped of her rights infuriating. She is a lively and bouncy girl who enjoys having fun yet can adopt extraordinary focus should a necessary situation arise. Ginny is not one for crying, and so if she were to do so, there would be very good reason; her tears do not emerge easily, or over trivial issues.
Ginny isn’t afraid of confrontation either. She will actively stand up for what she believes in, often without considering the consequences first, a trait she attributes proudly to having grown up with six older brothers. Though rare, if she harbours venomous dislike for someone she can be very harsh. Ginny is an accomplished flier, having great talent for Quidditch, since she had secretly practiced flying from the age of six. She is very attractive and popular, making her approachable by a great variety of people due to her quick wit and bright personality.
She is also very adaptable to a situation. Ginny is a very convincing actress should the situation require it, making a believable liar. Despite her petite appearance, she is actually a very capable witch in combat, and is known to be a prodigious spellcaster, particularly of the Bat Bogey Hex, which she has gained a reputation for. She has an affinity for animals, having enjoyed Care of Magical Creatures and purchased her very own Pygmy Puff from Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes during her own Hogwarts days.
Despite the fact that Ginny often found her mother’s overprotective, smothering nature ridiculous, she has inherited this trait after becoming a parent herself. She would do anything for her children whatever the cost, though she does try to give them their freedom to an extent.

Remember, if the time should come when you have to make a choice between what is right, and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good, and kind, and brave, because he strayed across the path of Lord Voldemort.

HISTORY Ginny was born to Arthur and Molly Weasley as the first female Weasley in several generations. She was born slightly before the end of the First Wizarding War. She has since grown up at the Burrow with her parents and six brothers, where she began breaking into the family broom shed and practicing her flying from the age of six. Ever since her eldest brother Bill had started attending Hogwarts, she had always looked forward to attending herself.
Ginny began at Hogwarts in September 1992, and was sorted into Gryffindor as expected. She gained possession of an ancient diary belonging to Tom Riddle, now known to be one of Lord Voldemort’s Horcruxes. Being young and naïve, Ginny confided in the diary and became increasingly reliant on it, draining away her own personality whilst essentially being possessed by Riddle. She came under progressively stronger influence of the diary, opening the Chamber of Secrets several times in the school year, causing the petrification of several students, and nearly resulting in her own death when the memory of Riddle became corporeal. Ginny was rescued from the Chamber and the diary was destroyed by Harry Potter.
Aware that Voldemort had returned in the summer of 1995, Ginny stayed at Order of The Phoenix Headquarters. She was considered too young to be able listen in meetings, and hence was banished from the meetings. By this point, Ginny and Hermione had adopted an almost sisterly relationship, so Ginny became privy to all of this information regardless. In her fourth year at Hogwarts, she was a devoted member of Dumbledore’s Army and also became the Gryffindor Seeker after Harry received a lifetime Quidditch ban from Dolores Umbridge, and was skilled enough to ensure that Gryffindor won the Quidditch Cup that year. Ginny participated in the Battle of The Department of Mysteries in summer 1996, luckily sustaining only minor injuries, and comforted Harry over the loss of his godfather.
She participated in the battle of the Astronomy tower in the summer of 1997, coming out of the battle unscathed, though registering shock when her brother Bill was scarred by the vicious werewolf Fenrir Greyback. She attempted to comfort Harry in light of Dumbledore’s death.
Ginny participated in the Battle of Hogwarts in 1998, almost being killed by the infamous Bellatrix Lestrange. However, she also had to cope with the death of her older brother Fred, who was killed by one of the many Death Eaters in the castle that night. After Voldemort was destroyed that night by Harry Potter, Ginny completed her Hogwarts education in the years that followed, gaining a good selection of N.E.W.Ts, and upon graduating was contacted by the Holyhead Harpies. Ginny played for the team as Chaser for many years, having admired the captain, Gwenog Jones, for a long time. She married Harry Potter and had three children, and currently works as the Senior Quidditch Correspondent for the Daily Prophet.
