PERSONALITY Maximus is a very dominant and in control boy, He likes to acknowledge that he is superior to others when that time arises. However he does not boast about this to others, unless they provoke it of course. He knows that modesty is something that will get him far in life, and in such keeps his over bearing nature to be correct in check. He hates when his team loses at quidditch, and also hates when he loses a fight against someone else. He is very pride filled and everyone pretty much knows it as such, he can easily be angered if someone speaks to him about his loss. Even further angered if they push him around and attempt to bully him.

He is not much of a fighter, even if he does enjoy the occasional thrill of a fight. Mostly however, he is a lover. And it is this that he excells well in, especially well as most girls would tell you. He has had many girls in his years, and even if he broke it off with them, he still speaks on good terms. He is not one for enemies, thinking it far too annoying to deal with, Instead prefers to simply try to talk to anyone, even if they annoy him at times. He is protective over his little sister, knowing that she will need protecting as she isnt the sanest of people. He will gladly punch any man that dares attempt to hurt her, Or anyone else that she deems needs taken care of.

HISTORY Maximus was born and raised as the first and eldest child of the Redstrum family, His parents only married a few months prior to his birth. Some say that he was an accident, that accident forcing the two adults into marriage so that they were a legitamite family. Matthais never wanted to make his girl friend look badly, and even if it wasn't his or something he stuck by and told her that he was not going anywhere. After all the fool was in love with her, and the baby did nothing but bring this even more forward. While the war was in effect he took care of his wife and child, making sure they were both safe. In fact, it was also something that he talked about with the child for a while afterwards.

As he aged things were a bit safer, the dark lord no longer imposing a threat upon the world after his defeat. Sure there were rumors that death eaters would revolt and gather once more, But none of the authorites worried to much over them. In fact, just like many other families the redstrum family was able to stabilize themself with ease and get a home. It was in this home that his baby sister born and raised. It was a known fact that Matthais only was home for a short period, and during this period much of it was spent with his wife.

Maximus entered hogwarts at the age of eleven, he was a very well known boy for the ladies as he never resisted the urge to flirt and talk to anyone. He made many friends his first year, and kept all of those friends through the years. By his third year he was accepted onto the quidditch team, being the team seeker and thus gaining him even more attention. He had brains, brawn and he was a very talkative and polite young man. The professors didn't mind him in classes, in fact he was even active in most classes, Except for those that he hated entirely. He had several girlfriends and flings as a child, and now in his seventh year he has been captivated by one woman, Another fellow gryffindor by the name of Emma Goldstein. The two had met at a school party, and had immediately hit it off. He has taken it upon himself to try his hardest to remain loyal to her, trying to stay away from alchohol, as his brain fails to function correctly when drunk. He had cheated on her once before, although she knew nothing of it.. And thus has sworn to himself it will never happen again.. Will he be able to hold that promise?
