PERSONALITY Macaila Brynn Marquette is like an unpredictable gust of wind, and she likes to keep it that way. She thrives off of the power of seduction, and considers herself rather good at it. She's not easy, she enjoys the chase, the small glances and the light touch of someone's fingertips against her skin as they pass by drive her crazy. She doesn't consider herself as someone who settles, always wanting what others have, and the moment she's obtained her object of affection, she's quickly moving on to someone else, though she's sure to keep her past interests always hanging by a thread.

Seclusion and privacy are two things she can't get enough of, loving a dark night out on the beach alone to gather her thoughts as waves crash quietly upon the shore. She can be rather dark at times, her eyes always showing a glimpse of what she's thinking, they give away every emotion she's feeling. Her parents taught her to always go for the best, and to knock down whoever and whatever might be blocking her way. No is never an option, and what Macaila wants, Macaila gets.

Her personality is not in your face, but she still draws people to her just by a simple glance their way. She knows how to play the game, and she does it well. The loud obnoxious girls at the parties drawing just the right men towards her who want more than what the average girl can offer them. She always wants what she can't have, the forbidden only drawing her more towards them.

HISTORY Adopted. That's what Macaila is, and that's what Macaila doesn't know. A young muggle girl fell desperately in love with a ministry employee, soon finding herself pregnant with his son. The two raised the boy as best they could, but the young girl became pregnant once again, and this time, the couple knew they couldn't carry on raising the children, so the moment Macaila was born, she and her brother were handed over to a couple who had been trying for years to conceive, though never did. Macaila's brother was old enough at the time to know what was going on, though he made it his mission to let his sister grow up feeling as normal as possible. Matteo never felt wanted due his parents giving him and Macaila up, and he never wanted her to feel unwanted.

Their adoptive parents raised the children as if they were their own, never discussing once that they were not the biological parents. They raised their children with supremacist beliefs, and were sure to point out that muggles and halfs were dirty, and to never taint their blood by crossing with an undesirable. But Macaila always felt different towards those not of pure descent, most likely because she wasn't pure herself, though she never knew that. She strongly believed she was pure, only because that's what her parents raised her to believe, and she didn't know any different. As both children grew, their parents continued in their teachings of the magical world, and how strong and loyal family must be to each other. And while Macaila may dapple with a half here and there, she's sure to tip toe silently away in the morning as to not disappoint her family, though she loves the forbidden, always wanting what she can't have. But what girl doesn't?
