Capricorns are very ambitious people, they always have something they are pursuing and they want their lives to be fulfilled and important. HAIR and EYES Xerxes has much more of his mother's features and his father's personality. He is often regarded as the male version of his mother with striking ice blue eyes and dark waves that often curl in an unruly way, despite his attempts to tame them. His skin is fair and smooth, his face soft yet angular in certain places that offers a very sharp and severe appearance when the shadows are cast right, otherwise he looks like some forlorn angel walking on this earth searching for a way back to heaven.

Although Xerxes mostly stays to himself, he can often offend someone when he goes to open his mouth. He is quite insensitive and very straight forward and he responds by his views and opinions.[/ul]
BOGGART If faced with a boggart, it would take the form of his parents, looking down upon him with not only disappointment but disgust as he has failed them.
MIRROR OF ERISED If stood before the Mirror of Erised, Xerxes would see himself standing tall with a Head Boy badge pinned to his chest, the house and quidditch cups in either hands with everyone applauding around him.
PATRONUS When casting the patronus charm, he thinks back on his early childhood, when his mother would sing to him as he drifted off with his head upon her lap, her fingers running through his hair. He remembers this to be the ultimate example of his more carefree time in his life where there was no stress, no strain, and no pressure. From this memory is conjured a hawk flying free from the tip of his wand to glide through the sky in a graceful trail of blue.
PERSONALITY When it comes to the personality of Xerxes Galliano, unlike that of his appearance, he is said to be the reborn version of his father. He is very goal oriented, and very ambitious with a driving will to prove himself. He strives for achievement, to be the best of the best and no less than that. Because of this, he is extremely competitive and often times does not back down from a challenge as he is even constantly challenging himself, but he isn't a fool and won't go into anything foolishly, neither will he accept challenges that may harm his status or social standing.

From an outsider's prospective, he seems to be like a regal prince worthy of his social standing and his high social status. He is quite hard to approach because of the air that surrounds him, and he is a bit unattainable because of it. That and because he is so focused on success that he gets tunnel vision. This would make one think he isn't very good in romantic situations, and while he expresses his very picky views on the subject, he is surprisingly romantic in his own way. This could be because he does not like doing things half way and he is a creature of luxury and extravagance, so anyone he courts is sure to be treated like royalty. However, he isn't quick to reveal his feelings nor is he quick to make an emotional connection with someone. This makes he come off as a bit cold and distant, but if you are able to make him smile, then you are in a good place. Anyone to actually get past that wall of indifference is sure to witness a very passionate and loyal individual.

He likes to be in a position of power and high status, to be recognized for his achievements and praised for them as well. If you disregard him, especially when he has accomplished something he is proud of, he will hate you, because you have hurt his feelings and instead of expressing that you have done this, he will do all that is in his power to destroy you.

HISTORY Xerxes, born of winter, entered this world with a striking resemblance to his dearest mother. Throughout his whole life, it has been said to him that he favors his mother and that could be part of the reason why he is closer to her than his father. He grew up in high class and great social standing, taught to be cunning, intelligent, and to honor his family name. His childhood was fairly normal, but that normalcy ended when he entered Hogwarts. Already his sister was making a name for herself and her shadow was cast very largely, growing with each year. This is part of the reason why he strives to prove himself, to remove himself from beneath is sister's shadow and to add his own great honor to the Galliano name.

There was a moment during third year that he fell into a deep depression because of a bad grade he got in potions class. Not only did he disappoint himself, but he disappointed his head of house and also his parents. He thought himself unworthy and a lesser being not worthy to be regarded as a wizard. He was extremely hard on himself for that failure because it wasn't just one measly test, it as a very important one. His mother intervened, though, and after a talk with him and with his professor, he was able to retake the test after he dusted himself off, he passed with excellent marks.

With that boost of confidence, he has been trucking forward since then, striving onward for greatness. He wants to be someone his father can be proud of. Someone he himself can be proud of.

When it comes to his romantic life, some would be surprised that he experienced his first serious relationship at the tender age of 14. She was an upperclassman and housemate by the name of Miranda Bailey. Miranda was an ambitious girl, charming, cunning, beautiful, and seductive. It was Xerxes' own ambition that drew her to him, and like-minded, they made an excellent pair. Some would say they were a 'match made in heaven'. However, it didn't last very long, because Miranda graduated last year, telling Xerxes to find her whenever he reached her level out there in the big, bad world. Although Miranda was an excellent partner, who matched him in every way, it was good to be on his own again and be focused only on his success. That is, until one Hannah Green stepped into his life. Sweet, caring, kindhearted, opinionated Hufflepuff Hannah Green became the warmth to Xerxes' chill, the beat of his heart, the light in his darkness. Her support drove him further than he had expected when being with another person, and there was an essence about her that reminded him of his mother. However, even that didn't last too long. Just recently they had quite the explosive falling out. Hannah found Xerxes too distant, cold, and stiff, unable to be affectionate and tear himself away from his goals. Xerxes simply decided Hannah doesn't understand the value of who he is and who he is trying to become. They split and its still a fresh, raw wound. They avoid each other and one never mentions the other in conversation.
