BOGGART When presented, the boggart takes the form of a grizzly bear. Alexios has always had a fear of bears. He wouldn't even accept Teddy Bears as a child.

PATRONUS His patronus takes the form of a dolphin. Yes. A dolphin. Friendly and intelligent creatures, dolphins.
PERSONALITY Like father, like son. Alexios mimicked some of Aeolus' habits as an impressionable young child. His kindness, his warmth, his effortless social abilities, his opinionated nature, all inherited in a loving, nurturing environment. Alex is never short a smile, nor a helping hand, or comforting words, and his warm embrace is quite signature.

However, this doesn't mean Alex is a gullible doormat. He's quick to stand up for those in need of help and he's been known to throw a punch if the situation calls for it. He tries his best to be non-violent, but there are those who insist. He isn't beyond patching things up, though, but that doesn't mean he forgets who a person is, or at least who a person chooses to portray themselves as.

The kind of magic Alexios tends to perform is practical magic and magic used for entertainment purposes. He's not one for the complexities of healing magic, like his father, but he likes to capture a crowd between classes out in the courtyard. Alex thrives on friendship, and friends of his mean a lot to him and are treated with love and respect.

HISTORY The story of Alexios Serafeim goes a little something like this...

After the battle at Hogwarts and the defeat of the Dark Lord, and while society was settling back into a semblance of normalcy, Aeolus Serafeim was struggling with his own battle. He had come to the realization that he didn't have common feelings for women. This, for a while, he blamed on Jay Mustang, a flirtatious co-worker during his employment at Hogwarts as a healer in training, but he soon admitted to himself that it wasn't anyone's fault. He had been quite blind to the fact of his own alignment, but was always there, through denial and indifference.

However, Aeolus still wanted to have a family. Very single and not well versed in the language of romance, Aeolus decided he would begin this adventure alone...well, perhaps not so alone? Answering his ad for surrogacy was young Glykeria Iaonnidis, a waitress at a small restaurant in the city. With the crippling economy as it is, she decided the money offered would set her up well for a bit while she found a better job. Glykeria proved to be every bit of what her name emphasized. She was sweet in her very own way and extremely jovial. Aeolus seemed to be the only nervous one during their first meeting, bu Glykeria made the whole ordeal feel very casual and they laughed and papers were signed, and after a visit to the doctor Glykeria became pregnant.

During the course of her pregnancy, Glykeria and Aeolus formed a very strong friendship, and though many parents of surrogate children bid the surrogate mother to keep her distance after the child is born, Aeolus offered Glykeria a place in his child's life. With the money Aeolus gave her, she was able to get a better apartment and go back to school, and because of that, she was able to become a sales manager at the restaurant she worked at and helped develop it into a successful business. Every now and then she has been able to visit Alexios much like a friend visits another friend, and she formed a healthy relationship with Alexios, who understood the dynamics of his birth and parenting and grew up with a respect for his father and for Glykeria and with an increased knowledge of the LGBTQIA community.

He was always a happy and affectionate child, things he kept with him as he grew up. Now, he is quite the upstanding young man with a love for sports and for hanging out with his friends like any other teenager.
