Despite her aspirations, she has no real work ethic to speak of, preferring to live on her family's wealth and the generosity of several 'benefactors.' 

While a student at beaubaxtons, Roesia was generally well-liked for her status and familiarity with social graces. Charming to a fault on the surface, she also had a knack for getting what she wanted, even if it meant her competition conveniently fell out of whatever race she stood to win. Always seeming to be in the right place at the right time, Roesia always seems to know exactly what to say to charm almost anyone. She feels absolutely justified in using whatever means necessary to achieve what she feels she deserves in life, which is nothing short of everything she can grasp.

HISTORY Roesia was raised to envy her cousin Rosalie, just as her father Armand envied the girl's mother, his sister. While the reality of their fiscal differences was not that great, Armand always felt it unfair that the disowned daughter seemed to live as though she had never felt the loss of her family's connections. The thought that one child, a daughter no less, had repaired the breach had always seemed unjust to Armand. As a result, he and his wife raised Roesia to grasp at every opportunity and to treat wealth and privilege as her first priority. Trained thoroughly in the art of deception and charm, Roesia used every gift available to her to claw her way to the top of her class. On the surface, her life, and everything in it, was perfect.

However, appearances, as is so often the case, were deceiving. Armand had never been a particularly kind man, and as he delved more deeply into Voldermort's service, he returned from meetings in dark, often violent moods. Roesia's mother was rarely if ever home, which left her the only target for his vengeful fits. Armand Chastain hated his life, and blamed only others for his misfortunes. It was for this reason that Roesia always strove to be the best, though it did her little good. The moment she graduated from Beaubaxtons, she left to find a new life in London, home of the 'privileged' side of her family. Hoping to prey on their sympathies, she took advantage of the kindness of her Burke relatives, and was able to create a wealthy, relatively well-adjusted front with which to manipulate others to her ends.
