HAIR&EYES His eyes are a medium brown and his hair is an ash blond turning slowly darker. His mother has always encouraged them to be physical and he is starting to realize the advantages of it in dating. Not only does he spend time in the outdoors, he is taking dance lessons from his mother so he has a dancer's/climbers body, light muscles and slim.
HEIGHT&WEIGHT 5'11" and 150 pounds. Based on his father's height the triplets will probably be springing upwards very shortly. One oddity; he rarely tans yet does not have a darker skin.

ANIMAGUS
Not long after the beginning of the fourth year in the dorm, Maddox found hidden behind one of the headboards, an old forgotten journal stuck to the bed. After some reading he brought it to his brothers with great excitement as it seemed to be the old writings of Remus Lupin! In it, he had documented what the Marauders had done to become Animagus and the triplets found it fascinating and exciting! All fourth year they secretly discussed it and tried to find what they needed and worked hard on it, hoping to succeed as brothers to do something really special and just before the end of summer before their fifth year they managed the first part of the magic.

Greatly encouraged, they saved the second half for being back at Hogwarts and managed it during the first month of their fifth year after great difficulty, but the natural bond they shared helps far more then what the Marauders had as friends, allowing them to all succeed together as one. Marcos can become a White Bengal Tiger, nearly the same as his patronus (conversely Maddox is a Canadian Lynx and Madden is a Cougar). It took weeks before he could move effortlessly as one silently or fight as one, but he can do it, he just has to be extremely discreet in using it. Only his brothers (and his new wife Giana Valerio) know about their secret so far.

PERSONALITY
Being a third of triplets has a very large impact on one's life. Never alone and always competing has given him a drive to try and stay ahead of his brothers, despite not being the most "pumped" one. He instead favors a mix of smarts and daring, sometimes pushing the line of what is safe to get an edge on his brothers in whatever today's game is. While he is not a organized sports person, he does adore outdoors sports like white water rafting, skiing, snorkeling, mountain climbing, and hiking (something his mother doesn't get). While not the most athletic of the three, he has a good decent build (partly through his mother's dancing lessons which he isn't fond of, but he will do for her) and a smarts for picking the right way to avoid getting hurt, though with two ambitious brothers it has happened.

Okay, more then a few times, but that was often him performing a rescue as well. There is no way he will leave a brother stranded any more then they would leave him.

Understand, he is not afraid of pushing the edge of danger and he has been caught twice on the drainpipes of Hogwarts many floors above a safe level (where he found Sirus Black's signature! COOL!), but he is experienced enough of the three to know where the limit is and what he can risk to reach his goal safely. Sometimes like his brothers it's about a girl, but more often with Marcos it's about the challenge, getting to places others have not been, doing what others have not done. He likes being able to say confidently what he has done, knowing it's true and not some half-faked story like he has heard a lot of guys do. He has the wanderlust to travel and see places!

And yes of course he returned for a second trip and charmed his own signature beside his hero's, wouldn't you have?

If attacked he would fight back fierce, but looking for an opening, an upper hand. He is not testosterone fighter, he thinks at what he does. He also likes the idea of moving silently or unseen. So one can find him sometimes in the hallways walking (or trying to) walk very quietly against the day he may need to for his own good. Marcos is also one who needs the outdoors; just being outside can put him in a good mood for hours afterwards, like he sucks up nature into his lungs! And just for good measure since wizards do not expect it, he has a set of brass knuckles he keeps in his pocket which he has worked on charming so they don't leave an impression, just slam one like the dickens! He is a thoughtful boy on some things...

His recent romantic entanglements have put him however in a serious mindset when it comes to girls, surprising his brothers to some degree. Recently he became married to protect his love from a family entanglement and he could NOT be happier!

HISTORY
Marcos and his brothers were born on a very storm afternoon, filled with heavy rain and thunder. For their mother this might have been an omen as triplet boys can be quite a handful. Growing up as typical boys (as in, "Dirt with a noise in it"), as they learned to walk, talk, and get into mischief, they have been a whirlwind of trouble always, often competing with each other for both attention and bribes from their mum for stillness. When asked what it was like having them as young preteens, their mother has often told others to make a smoothie in a blender without a top. They soon began to learn about hiding damage and messes from their mother because of her reactions, but despite this she still seems to love them entirely. Never having met their biological father (and not having a picture of him) they have all dreamed what he must be like and their dreams have often involved fantasies which relate closely to their own deepest desire for what they want to be.

Marcos himself found his "older" brother to be gaining muscle the fastest and thus had to learn early on to think his way to an advantage before his brother could reach it while his "younger" brother has always waited to take advantage of their mistakes, hanging back just enough to be read to strike. Thus their competition began to develop their personalities even more then in many families, with each triplet struggling for their own identity at the same time identifying themselves in their mind's as close knit brothers. Despite a few injuries along the way and different friends along the way (most of Marcos' have been muggles), they remain brothers who watch out for each other fiercely, sharing what they can. It's only recently as their growth spurts have begun that it's clear they can no longer wear each other's clothes as easily as they used to (with muscles accounted for they come in three sizes, close, but not quite fitting). And although they have teased their mum many times, they have never actually worn each other's underwear, just changed the names in the tags to freak her out.

As a mum she is pretty cool, quite willing to wade in physically to stop their play when it gets too much, even as teenagers.

Hogwarts was not prepared for triplets who were still so similar in looks and for the first few years the other students spent many a confused afternoon trying to keep them apart for identification alone! Now however as they have bloomed, their clear differences have changed them into three different looking young men (though mostly physical changes; their faces are still pretty close to the same if you gave them all the same haircut and shaved off the facial hair) and this has been a relief for the rest of the dorm. While not pranksters like the famous Weasley twins (who are still spoken about), they make their own impact on others in different ways. Especially on the girls with their handsome looks and well muscled proportions. So far they have managed well enough to avoid all but a few fireball incidents which were mostly in the dorms, thankfully.

Two years ago he broke up with a girl named Nadya, a very sweet romance, but not entirely what he wanted he thought, mistaking the way relationships worked. The summer began with a real mix of emotions. Later he had a muggle friend of his from his neighborhood who finally admitted to a crush on him and they had a brief fling. While it was short lived, it did open up his eyes to seeing his female friends in a very different way which his brothers have teased him about being a late bloomer for. He remains good friends with Luci Pitzer and they have a lot of relaxed body language now, but they have moved on past dating to a more solid, best friend status. He frequently writes her about things which happen at school, leaving out the magic references and his journal in his room is where he writes her stuff he can't actually tell her about.

That bothers him a lot.

That relationship taught him about how wrong he had been about romance and what love really was. Unfortunately it also shoved Nadya into a situation with a guy that summer and they both came back as different people, having a brief and very INTENSIVE fling at the start of the year which has now become a friendship of shifting emotions as Marcos finds himself drawn instead to Nadya's sister. After a turbulent time, the two sisters and Marcos have made their peace and to save Gia he had to marry her, and quick, to get her out of a situation with quite a lot of danger. Only heaven knows how this next year in Hogwarts will go...

Looking back later he still found himself amazed he had stumbled across such a treasure.

He had sat down on the floor in the stacks to reach the lowest shelf, wanting to skim them till he found the one he needed; he wasn't interested in taking back a whole stack just for one paper! He'd make do with one reference. It was as he reached for it that he noticed the bottom shelf had a slight thickness to it in one corner, invisible unless one was sitting down low. Surprised, he reached for it and found a small box on the underside of the shelf. To see it he had to lie on his back and found a box which was an open sleeve-- and there was a well worn book there! Sliding the book out took only a second and the title-less book when he opened it had nicely scripted writing, but there were scribbles throughout it on every page.

Distracted, he also noticed a different picture on each corner, repeated on each page, front and back, showing eight total cartoons that had been drawn in painstakingly. It took him a minute of looking at passages before he realized what it was. The passage itself was pretty weird actually, not what he was expecting at all, but as he read it he realized it was a book about the birds and the bees! In very dry language, of course, the boring kind of textbook one could expect from an adult writer with little amusement. There were, he noticed as he flipped the pages, four different handwritings which were not hard to differentiate between. Two were joksters, poking fun at all the different parts of the text, one wasn't too bright (providing amusement for the other two), and one was the voice of reason who seemed pretty up on what was going on.

Forget the original text; the scriblings were easily the best part of the book! Twice in two pages he nearly snorted at the sarcasm and it was on the third page that he noticed one of the pictures was different from the page before. Frowning, he flipped back and looked more carefully; sure enough there was a slight difference. He checked the one before and noticed a slight difference, hard to see. And then it hit him the pictures were drawn to be a flip book! Turning to the first page he flipped the pages and watching one corner saw he was very right-- until he realized what was depicted was between a boy and girl... Blushing suddenly as he became educated on a 'position' he had never thought of before, he started to turn the book to watch another corner before he remembered where he was! Stashing the book in his inner pocket carefully, he resolved to explore it more thoroughly that evening.

And thus began the education of Marcos in the world of couples interaction of the physical kind....
