He may seem like he is not paying attention in class, or that he doesn’t care, but he takes mental notes of the class, and writes them down later, when he feels up to it. He is a big flirt to any girl he seems worthy of his time. It's hard for him to make friends since most people attend to annoy him, and for the fact that he is too honest with people. He will give his honest opinion on something if asked, or even if he wasn’t asked If someone were to become his friend, he would do everything and anything for that person. He loves laughing and goofing of with people he knows well. He does want he wants and says what he wants, not caring what other think, say or do.
He likes challenges, but will get violent if these challenges prove beyond his patience. That includes annoying people. Once he is at the edge of his patience, Mason will resort to violence, trickery, and whatever he can think of. He will lose his calm and collected facade completely. And some of the spells he knows are pretty nasty - it's clear he has been meddling with the Dark Arts, and it‘s very easy to get him there. He is good at twisting peoples words, to make them seem like a good thing for him, or making so he likes it that way.

HISTORY. Mason is the second child of six to Daniel and Isabella Ashton. There is really not much to say about Mason. He grew up rarely seeing his parents, due to his father being an ex-Death Eater and is always on the run, and then his mother always working to help keep a roof over her children’s head as her husband went to live his dream of bring in a band. That was always on tour playing gigs all over the world. It didn’t bother Mason much. He helped his Aunt Shey or the Sato’s watch over his siblings when they were watching them. He didn’t mind at first, that was until his father had given him his first guitar, and then it turned into Mason only watching over Jack, and playing his guitar.
Watching Jack wasn’t always easy for Mason. He was always beating his little brother up for being stupid and doing stupid things. Once Mason broke Jack’s arm after his older sister Rhiley came running over to him one day, in tears after a nasty prank Jack pulled on her. Needless to say Mason got in huge trouble and his guitar was taken away from him, which made Mace not care what any of his siblings did and started only worrying about himself.
By the time he was eleven and received his letter from Hogwarts, Mason couldn’t have been more thrilled. He would be away from all of his siblings except Rhiley, but he was fine with that.
In his years at Hogwarts, Mason rarely caused any trouble. He made some friends, had a little fun, but mainly stuck to himself and plucked away at his guitar. It wasn’t until he met a certain girl, that he was tired of being alone most of the time. He had loved her deeply, but she had crushed his heart and walked away from him like what they had shared had been nothing. So he is afraid to love again.
During the summer before his fifth year, he joined up with a muggle band, and played small gigs here and there, when he was back from school. But now that his family is moving to America, so he left that band with no regrets, since they were not as serious, in hopes to find a band that wants to go places.
