PERSONALITY
Victoria is a very confident and competitive young lady with an outgoing personality that can at times throw people off-balance. She comes off as fearless, despite knowing she isn't the best with her wand, she'll stand up to the worst kinds without flinching. That said she's a bit reclusive at times, not because she doesn't enjoy company but because she enjoys having time to clear her head and exercise without interruption. Being muggleborn who's so into sports she was and still is a major supporter of the muggle football (soccer) team Chelsea and likes to go to their games during the summer holidays.
Despite her apparent fearlessness, Victoria has a real fear of being abandoned by her parents. After their reaction to her being a witch, she can't help but feel alienated although her father tries hard to be accepting and treat her just the way he always did. Her mother on the other hand can barely look at her when she's at home, and only does so directly if there's an important family matter. Because of this, Victoria shies away from muggles some and has thrown herself whole-heartedly into the magical world, despite knowing that some magical folk will hate her simply on the principle of her being muggleborn.

Remember, if the time should come when you have to make a choice between what is right, and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good, and kind, and brave, because he strayed across the path of Lord Voldemort.

HISTORY
Victoria was born into a family of high standing in their local area, at the time her father was on the town council and her mother was his devoted wife who stood by him and helped get him elected to the position. Everything about their life was planned out, including Victoria's birth, the paternity leave from the council that her father was allowed and the family's future in the town. Despite her family's focus on politics, Victoria was a neglected child by any means, her mother was caring and her father doting.
It was her father who took her to her first football game when he discovered her love for it, she was eight years old when they went to London to see her favourite team Chelsea in a home game. Unfortunately, the happy family was going to be thrown a curveball of epic proportions when on her eleventh birthday a letter arrived for her sealed with wax, it looked very important and her parents had initially thought it a letter from some prestigious school their father was invited to attend. Well, they were partially right of course.
They were shocked to discover the details of the letter, at first they thought it some kind of hoax, that was until several more letters arrived until eventually one of them said it was not a prank and they were forced to take it seriously. At the time, her father was trying to be elected as mayor of their small Oxfordshire town and her mother was throwing all of her support behind him of course. Her mother started ranting on about how this would effect their futures, but Victoria was just in awe of the fact she was apparently a witch and was going to go to a school to learn magic.
After some persuading her parents allowed her to go and simply told the newspapers that she had gone to a very well off boarding school, where her education would be top and her future brightest - it was their spin campaign of course. Like all who come to Hogwarts she was awed by it, but what really snatched her interest was thise strange magical world sport called quidditch. It was just like football, well okay not just like football, but it was a sport with two teams and she threw her support behind the house team like you wouldn't believe. In time though she turned out to be one hell of a flier herself, and it soon became her dream to be a professional quidditch player herself.
Over time her family life had settled a bit too, her father was acting like he always had with her, he even accompanied her to a couple of quidditch games as allowed under ministry decree as a parent of a witch or wizard. Her mother however has remained cold to her since, she doesn't quite understand why but has just come to wearily accept it, besides she was going to become a star quidditch player one day and wouldn't need to put up with the woman anymore.

RP SAMPLE.
Vickie stretched as she peered into the early morning light just coming over the hills in the distance. It was always best to stretch before a run, she'd learned that the hard way in her second year when she'd first started this little tradition of hers, it hadn't been pleasant going through a whole day of classes feeling like your muscles had locked up on themselves. Once her stretching was done, she knelt down to make sure her trainers were on properly, then took off around the school grounds at a steady and constant run.
She always did a full circle of the grounds, sure it meant waking up before anyone else did usually, but she always felt prepared for the day ahead afterwards. By the time she was finished people were normally waking up, so she returned to the common room to wash and change into her uniform for the day. Everything felt great after her blood was pumping from running, she didn't even worry about the things she should currently worry about, like how she had only scraped her OWL grades to get into doing her NEWTs or how she was only scraping them too.
The truth was, she'd only remained in school to keep playing quidditch, it was all that drove her. She stretched and put her hands on her hips, looking into the full body mirror at herself in uniform, grinning. "Dad would be proud." She assured herself, but it caused a frown because if she thought of her dad, then she had to think of her mother. Shaking the thoughts from her head, she turned and left the room to go down to the great hall for breakfast.
