BOGGART Callie’s boggart is the drowned form of her sister.
MIRROR OF ERISED When she looks in the mirror, she sees her family well off, not wanting for anything and her sister alive.
PATRONUS Her patronus is a Thestral. It is mostly due to the thestral tail hair in her wand.
PERSONALITY Callie is the silent type that watches from the shadows. She keeps herself to herself and isn’t one to go around talking about her own life. If it were solely up to her, she wouldn’t have friends. She doesn’t make an effort to make any friends. She is a misfit magnet. People are drawn to her. She is reckless and profound. There is something inside her that feels broken, yet she can see people clearly. She is an observer, and very detached from people. She can get into your head. She likes to silently solve problems. Do the deed without any recognition as it were.
Understanding Callie is like trying to bottle air. You can catch it, but there is no way to tell if you got it all or not. Attachment is her weakness. When her sister died, it took a huge toll on her mentally. She feels the best way to not get her heart broken is to pretend she doesn’t have one. She plays out the part of the rebellious bad girl, but those who really get to know her can see she is just battered. Most of her brittle exterior is just the walls she has built up. They are there to keep her inside, not to keep people out. She is that one person that you never expected to step forward and take another persons punishment. She is brave, honest, and very real with you, not caring if it offends you or not. You wont notice her, but you’ll never forget her.

Remember, if the time should come when you have to make a choice between what is right, and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good, and kind, and brave, because he strayed across the path of Lord Voldemort.

HISTORY
Her parents met under normal circumstances. Her father was sweeping his stairs as her mother walked by in her Army uniform on her way to work, and gave him a smile. This continued every morning for the next year, until he finally got up the nerve to talk to her. His family disapproved of him interacting with a muggle (being from a very pureblood biased background), and he grew very distant from them. He fell in love with her, and she fell in love with him. He admired her bravery and cunning, while she loved his quietness and book smarts. They complimented each other very nicely. He revealed to her that he was a wizard, hoping it wouldn’t scare her away. She was shocked, but eventually she accepted it and grew to love him even more for it.
They decided to get married, and soon had a baby girl. She was named Calliope because of her fathers fascination with science and the stars. A year later, another baby girl was born. She was named Cassiopeia. The two girls grew up as best friends. Cassie was outgoing and a natural leader, whereas Callie was observant and quiet. They were like to pieces of one puzzle. They worked together perfectly. When their letters for Hogwarts came, they were ecstatic, but their parents were worried. Her father was only a broom maker, and her mother was no longer in the army. They didn’t know how they would be able to afford the tuition. In order for Callie to go, they sold nearly everything they owned. They moved into the old, run down family farm to cut costs so that they could buy her school supplies. Everything was second hand, but Callie didn’t mind.
When it was time for Cassie to go to Hogwarts, they didn’t know what to do. The stress of it was too much for their mother, and she left them without a word. They were heartbroken, and Callie went into a depression. The Headmaster of Hogwarts allowed Cassie a tuition loan so that she could attend. It would be paid off with time. The pieces of their life were slowly putting themselves back together. But then, the year Callie turned 14 and Cassie turned 13, they went to the beach on a holiday. Nobody had been paying attention, and didn’t notice that Cassie hadn’t come back to shore for lunch. They panicked when they couldn’t find her. The police were called, and 32 hours later, her body was found down the coast. They said the cause of death was drowning, but it was because someone or something had knocked her out.
After that, Callie became brittle and hostile for a while. Her mental state was unsteady and she was forced to see the school councilor weekly. She slowly became better, albeit very withdrawn. Now she pretends like nothing bad ever happened in her life, and she watches. She observes. She listens.

The cold air stung her eyes and her dark messy hair had little white flecks of snow in it. She stood up against the icy wall of the Hogshead, holding a small cup of hot cocoa. It warmed her inside as she drank it, but her exterior still looked just as cold as the weather. Her penetrating green eyes wandered around the area, looking up over her cup. Her black fingerless gloves revealed nails painted baby blue, which tapped methodically on the porcelain of the cup. She was amused, smirking thoughtfully as she watched two third year boys get into a fist fight over a girl. From what she could tell, they both thought that they were dating the girl. Callie flicked her eyes to the cause of the ruckus. The girl was standing there, pretending to be appalled. Callie wasn’t fooled though. She could see the satisfaction in her eyes.
She knew what kind of person she was. Manipulative. Attention seeking. Callie shook her head slightly, rolling her eyes. She longed for the day when she wouldn’t be disappointed in humanity. She hoped maybe if she stared at her hard enough, the girl would feel her looking and turn her way. It worked exactly as she thought it would. The little she-devil looked her way, and the satisfaction vanished from her face. It was replaced with guilt as Callies eyes bore into her. Callie raised one of her eyebrows slightly at the girl. It wasn’t a threatening gesture, or even a disapproving one. It was more like she was letting the girl know that she could see her. She knew her little secret. That alone could be enough to tear a person up inside with guilt. Just knowing that someone knew your dirty little secret.
Callie moved her gaze and began to walk back towards the main road, shuffling through the snow like she didn’t have a care in the world. Behind her, she could hear the girl talking to the boys, sorting it out. Callie coyly smiled. The power of body language was scary sometimes. Just before turning onto the main road that would take her to Honeydukes, she let out a giddy little laugh. For someone that didn’t do much, her life was oddly fulfilling.
