maddy has always been known for her instability, but due to recent events she has mellowed. where she was once wild and violent maddy is much more reserved and calm. she seems to have forgotten most everything that she used to be and it now the opposite. she is sweet and soft, almost ladylike in her mannerisms.

she does have moments in which she seems unsure, lost. she has the temperament of a child, or someone who just can't quite remember what they're supposed to be doing or where they're supposed to be. her newfound innocence can sometimes do more harm than good, she's constantly getting lost or forgetting the most basic of charms and accidentally blowing something up. she needs constant supervision.

madalyn's parents were killed when she was three. she was placed in a church-based muggle orphanage until she was eleven and received her letter to hogwarts. while living in the orphanage maddy underwent an array of abuses, so leaving the church was one of the best things to ever happen to her. hogwarts was a whole new world for madalyn, she had had her beliefe almost beat out of her in the orphanage and knowing that the dreams she still sometimes had about flying booms and moving pictures weren't lies her underdeveloped brain had made up. she was always a strange little girl, children her age tended to avoid her.

at hogwarts she was sorted into slytherin, though her newfound best friend elaine was placed in hufflepuff. she didn't make friends in her own house for awhile. she took awhile to adjust to the world of magic, but she loved it. she didn't make many friends, but she cherished the few she had. in her fifth year she spent the winter vacation with elaine's family and was introduced to the teachings of the dark lord, she was amazed and frightened and when she graduated from hogwarts she joined his ranks. for years she worked for the dark lord, her mental status slowly deteriorating. her obsession with one osiris silver grew dangerously, and her grip on reality faded. after being rejected one final time madalyn disappeared.

after months of being who knows where, madalyn has returned to hogsmede a changed woman. she doesn't seem to remember anything before the past few months, or anyone from her past for that matter. she wanders the town, feeding the birds.
