PERSONALITY Emmalin is one of those people the muggles would call bipolar as an excuse to explain her natural abilities to have different personalities. She was not crazy under any circumstances and she didn't hear voices. She knows how to act so that she can get what she wants. She can be the caring, loving teacher when shes at Hogwarts, but she can also break up a fight at the Hogs Head after work.

She's tough, and independent. She can care for herself but once in awhile she longs for the company a husband would bring her. She's only 19, after all, and it isn't time yet. Emmalin can command a room like no other, and without very little effort. She's sly and cunning and she gets what she wants.

HISTORY Eric and Kathleen Hale both came from pureblooded families, though their numbers were dwindling. Most were not supporters of Lord Voldemort and were killed by his Death Eaters while the two were in school. It really brought them closer and as soon as they graduated they were wed. Eric got a job in France and they left less than a year later. They were both bright and did well in their work, putting off a family until they felt the time was right. Eric was 31 when Kathleen had baby Sean, and it was another ten years before they had Emmalin.

Emmalin was basically raised as an only child because Sean was away at Hogwarts. She was usually left to herself and she became very self sufficient. Her family didn't have a lot of money so she worked her summers on a horse farm. It wasn't until she graduated Beauxbatons that she moved to Hogsmeade to be an assistant at Hogwarts. Nearly two years had passed since she'd graduated and she was working hard to teach. She had gotten a job at the Three Broomsticks a couple nights a week to make a little extra spending money and she was settling into her little apartment in Hogsmeade.

Emmalin walked into the room her brown eyes scanning the strange faces as she looked for her brother. His letter had sounded urgent and she was worried that something had happened to him. He'd recently got himself caught up in business involving death eaters and he had explained to her that he was sure they were after him. She tried to believe that they weren't but he had really pissed these guys off. It was without saying that she couldn't find him and she started into the next room. She was almost through the doorway when a man stepped into her path, merely inches from her face, smirking. 'Looking for Sam, are you?' he whispered, his eyes darting to a waiter as they walked by.
