BOGGART Her boggart is a book with every page blank. She fears never getting her memory back…Never knowing who she was.
MIRROR OF ERISED She looks in the mirror and sees a family, but none of them have faces.
PATRONUS Her patronus is a Sparrow, because when she woke up in St. Mungos, the only hint of her past was the sparrow tattooed on her foot. It means a lot to her.
PERSONALITY
Tough is a good word to describe her. She is a barmaid. Some of the worst vermin find their way into the bar, and she has been roughed up more than a few times. She knows how to handle herself though, and can usually talk her way out of any situation with a drunkard. She is easy going and cheerful most of the time, and can often be found leaning on the bar, completely engrossed in a story that a traveler is telling. She loves listening to the stories that go through the place. Being a barmaid has also put her in a good position to listen. Whether it is lending a listening ear to a broken person, or hearing things that she shouldn’t… It puts her in a unique position to be an informal spy for the Order of the Phoenix.
She can be temperamental, but it takes more than a few harsh words and pushy drunks to get her to that point. She has been known to break noses, but never any hearts. She doesn’t like to get involved with costumers, since most of them are the scum of the earth with a few exceptions. She loves the crummy bar that she works in, and lives just down the road from it in a small apartment. She is content with her life, but frustrated because she can’t remember who she used to be. The healers told her she would need to just get on with her life, developing herself into a new person as she went. The old person no longer existed…Whoever she was.

Remember, if the time should come when you have to make a choice between what is right, and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good, and kind, and brave, because he strayed across the path of Lord Voldemort.

HISTORY
Catherine Marsden was the only child born to David and Sarah Marsden. David was a respected Dark Wizard Catcher, and Sarah was a teacher at the Salem Witches Institute. Catherine’s name was down for that school since the day she was born. She was raised in Salem, and went to the Salem Witch’s Institute when she was of age. They were a very happy family until she turned 15. That was when things started to happen. Whispers of a very powerful dark wizard came from over in Europe, and David was called to assist as an American Liaison. He was gone very often, and for very long. Her mother became sick, and just wanted to be with her husband again. They decided to move their family to England. Catherine was almost finished with school, and was not ok with moving to another country. They allowed her to stay and finish her schooling, while they lived in England.
When she finished school at seventeen, she decided to go in her fathers footsteps and become an Auror. She went straight into a tough training program, shadowing and assisting an accomplished Auror. By the time she turned twenty, she was a very skilled dark wizard catcher, ready for assignments alone. She was also one of the youngest to be turned loose…But the days were getting darker, and they needed everyone they could get. Her first assignment, to her delight, was over in Europe assisting her father in rounding up death eaters. That was when the tragedy happened.
They received bad intelligence, and walked into an ambush with 2 other Aurors. They just barely managed to escape, but they also managed to kill a death eater as they did. The other Death Eaters in the group tracked them down one by one. The two Aurors that were with them went missing, within consecutive weeks of each other. Then, they came for David and Catherine. The death eaters had the element of surprise, and her mother was killed instantly. Catherine tried to escape with her father, but they were both captured, and tortured for information. Neither of them yielded. Just when Catherine thought they were both going to be killed, her father whispered, “I’m sorry.”, jumped the closest death eater, took his wand, and blew the supports out of their home.
But she doesn’t remember any of that.
The only thing she remembers of her life, is waking up in St. Mungo’s, the victim of a serious head trauma and memory loss. She was given the name Casper Jay Malone, because the healers had found the initials CJM on the tag of her shirt. She was found in the rubble remains of a warehouse, alive. There was no one else, and no dead bodies. She was given her identity, and sent off into the wizarding world with a pocket full of donated galleons. She found her way to Diagon Alley, where a kind old man pointed her in the direction of Hogsmead, where he told her she could find a job and a place to live. She set off, found the Hogs Head, got her job and place to live, and has been living and working there ever since.

”…But BLIMEY it was HUGE! Don’t think I’d evar seen one so yellow ‘afore!”
Casper nodded, raising her eyebrows in amusement, “Mhm, yeah.” She pretended to be listening to the mans story, but he was so drunk it wasn’t making any sense. “I think its about time you take yourself home, yeah?” she asked him, smiling pleasantly. It was well after midnight, and he was the only person there. She was ready for him to go so she could have the bar to herself for a while. He grumbled in complaint, but then swayed and let out a rumbling belch. He rubbed his stomach and seemed to contemplate what she had said. After about three minutes of staring into his now empty mug, he seemed to come to the realization that she was right, and he should head home. As he shuffled out of the bar, she began sweeping.
The place was a mess, as usual, and no matter how often she cleaned it and how well, it always had a look of grime about it. She supposed it was due to the age of the building. But even their dishes seemed to always have a filthy film on them, no matter how hard she scrubbed them. It was no wonder some people brought their own mugs. Her mind wandered while she swept, going over the days events and the people she had met. There was always at least one new person a day, whether they were first timers or just passing through. Then there were the usuals, who came in at their routine times. She knew their names, their stories, and what they wanted to drink before they even had to ask her.
But her favorite costumers were the storytellers. They were the ones that only came once in a while, and always had something interesting to say. She loved to listen to the adventures they had, or whenever a teacher from Hogwarts would come in, she loved hearing about the activities in the school. It seemed so…Familiar to her. She supposed she had gone to a school like Hogwarts, or maybe she had gone to Hogwarts, but either way, she loved to listen and imagine the adventures she must have had in school.
