Forty years...
Thats how long its been since the great battle between Harry Potter and Voldermort, forty seemingly short, blissful years of peace. The People that fought in that long ago battle, have aged, some dieing some fading away until they are nothing more then regular people expect in the history books. Hogwarts is still going strong, bringing in new children to teach each year and even seeing the descendants of those that fought to protect its walls, the grandchildren of those especially famous to the school that taught them.
However, not all is going quite as smoothly as it appears. During the times of peace people have become slack, allowing the gradual rise of yet another dark lord, to slowly come around. Someone no one really expects, a female half blood, who guards her secret heritage with her life and now sits as the headmistress of Hogwarts school. Slowly working at gathering her own army of those younger and less experienced then her and setting about finishing what the previous dark lord could not. Extinguishing the one dark side to the earth, muggles, mudbloods, half bloods, and anyone else stupid enough to stand in her way.
Her reign is starting to become noticeable in the school, especially when a Gryffindor student is killed sneaking into the Slytherin common rooms on a dare. No one can prove who did it, though the Gryffindors friends have their suspects and are setting about revenge in whatever way they can find; knowing that somethings coming and that someone stronger stands behind the Slytherins yet unable to figure out exactly who is the ring leader of all of the chaos. Basically everyday is a knew battle as Gryffindors and Slytherins alike are sent to the Hospital Wing, blood is being shed and sides are being picked. Yet no one outside the school seems to notice the terror going on behind its walls.
